new and exciting game mode
-
Currently in OSM teams that are not title contenders are not so exciting to play. Except if a player is doing a challenge (let's say have leeds united and try to finish in the top 10) there is no other reason to get these clubs.
So what about adding a fifth slot that would be available only for this new game mode that I am about to tell you.I propose to form a league (per country for the top 5 leagues) that consists of 2-3 divisions. There will be rules (that you can form) for the promotion / drop from one division to the other. The game could be played for 5 seasons so like the battle for relegation in first division as well as the fight for promotion in the second division will be an interesting experience as well as the avoidance of the demotion to lower division. Players will get their team randomly so the best / most popular teams will be available.
The tournament should start when there are no AIs but only players. To prevent players from having teams with extremely highly rated players after the second or third season you can apply the transfer window feature. So for example matchdays 1-10 will consist the first transfer window and then matchdays 10-20 will have no transfer window opportunity while the matchdays 20-30 will benefit from the second transfer window.
To prevent players from being bored in the mid table fight (in case they have no mathematical chance of qualifying into the winners cup or getting relegated) every rank will earn different amount of money that will be a little head start for the next season’s first transfer window.
Another change for this game mode could be in the cup. For the cup teams from all the divisions will compete. So teams from the third division will have the chance to play against a first division team. Also the cup winner will get a ticket to the winners cup as well as a big amount of money, so you can imagine the hype from lower division teams for this.
The winners cup will be exactly the same as in the normal game mode except from the prize. A big amount of money will be earned even if you do not win the cup.
Since the second-third divisions have a few more teams, and therefore more matchdays, there have to be some days off for the teams of the first division to compensate for this. So the winners cup will be played at the same time of the extra matchdays of the 2nd – 3rd divisions and there will be a few days off for the first division teams that have not qualified for the winners cup.
Since this mode will last around 250 days, a good idea would be to have two matches a day so this mode will last for around 125 days.
I understand that some of the players will think that if they get a third division team they will get bored but trust me, with all this exciting competition you will never get bored. Please OSM team take notice of my idea and maybe give it a try.

So what about adding a fifth slot that would be available only for this new game mode that I am about to tell you.I don't agree with this one. Everyone will not have time to manage 5 slots (for some 4 can be much too) and those who've filled all their slots will have advantage.
I propose to form a league (per country for the top 5 leagues) that consists of 2-3 divisions. There will be rules (that you can form) for the promotion / drop from one division to the other. OSM is a simple, one season game. Always remember. Another thing in the promotion/relegation point is that most of the league's are having about 6 or 7 teams on an average. Then such a big system with so less managers will get boring. Also, for creating such a system, different worlds will have to be created. It would be boring, I think so.
The tournament should start when there are no AIs but only players.
This is also impossible because it may take a month. Will you accept waiting for 30 days? Most of the people will be looking for teams in which there are good teams and that's the real reason why tournaments/leagues are filled with many empty teams.
Now even if OSM creates a format of more than one season, transfer window is a thing no one will ever accept. Why? Because there will be very less time to sell players, and even with the transfer window when we're unable to sell players, how could you even imagine that in so less time our players will get sold?
To prevent players from being bored in the mid table fight (in case they have no mathematical chance of qualifying into the winners cup or getting relegated) every rank will earn different amount of money that will be a little head start for the next season’s first transfer window.
I am confused here, please explain properly.

Okay, if there will be a format of leagues from the same country (system) then the tournament like you just told (which is similar to the FA Cup) is not a bad idea. But it is big big nonsense to give a team not in the top 4 a Winners' Cup ticket just because they won the national cup tournament. Surely Arsenal deserved to be in the Champions League this season, isn't it?
The winners cup will be exactly the same as in the normal game mode except from the prize. A big amount of money will be earned even if you do not win the cup.
I can't give any feedback here I think so.

So the winners cup will be played at the same time of the extra matchdays of the 2nd – 3rd divisions and there will be a few days off for the first division teams that have not qualified for the winners cup.
This would be good if GameBasics apply this format.
Since this mode will last around 250 days, a good idea would be to have two matches a day so this mode will last for around 125 days.
Did I just tell that everyone doesn't have that much time. And playing for 125 days is also not any less time. If there will be 2 matches a day, this would basically mean (4x2=8) it would be like managing eight slots a day and like you said about having 5 slots, it would be like having 10 slots. Nonsense.
I understand that some of the players will think that if they get a third division team they will get bored but trust me, with all this exciting competition you will never get bored.
Out of 9 suggestions you gave, I only liked 1.

@vinayak-singh-mehra
thank you for your feedback -
@george-balakis I love your idea, but the time constraints are massive. Between waiting for all slots to be filled, Transfer Windows, double matchdays, and five seasons? I would love to see this if you address these restraints. And, are you giving out winners cup tickets every year? If so, that's a bit too much. I still like the idea of a Winners Cup ticket for the cup though, it would help the smaller clubs greatly.
-
@george-balakis The idea is very good. I hope it will be put in place, but I am against playing two matches in one day and also double the fifth hole
-
@wakil-isco If we don't play two matches in the same day the game mode will last approximately one year, so I thought this solution which I know it is not the best possible. I am trying to find a better solution but if you have an idea please reply.

@george-balakis I will try to figure it out for more. Keep sharing such informative post keep suggesting such post.
