To nie bitwy, kojarzysz piątki z bitew. Tu każdy gra osobno w lidze + zbiera za występ punkty dla zespołu jak to było w PW czy PPG.

@apocalipse4 said in Nations Cup - Explanation, FAQ, Rules and Discussion:Hello my friends,
"I hated every minute of training but i said don't quit, suffer now and live the rest of your life like a champion" - Muhammad Ali.
Yesterday was a day of great emotions, with the draw of the series and the PM, which we now announce:
As you can see, all the PMs are drawn, and as we receive the lineups, we will update this list with the name of the coaches (G1) who will have to create their respective leagues on the 8th of February. The registration of lineups can be done until 07/02 at 23:59. Next weekend, we will give more detailed information, with a walkthrough explaining how PMs should create the leagues, which we remember will be the Community League.
I leave the link here, of the Nations Cup regulation, in case you want to consult :
http://bit.ly/NC2021-Regulation
Now we will explain how the qualification will be, for the Nations Cup final. As we announced at the presentation of the competition, we would have the possibility of having a tournament with 16, 32, 48 or 64 teams, depending on the number of National teams registered. As you know, we will have 47 National teams and a CPU, that is to say 48 teams, in this format, the first 5 classifieds, of the A, B and C series, will be qualified, which makes 15 teams and the 16th team to qualify for the Final, will be the 6th best of the 3 series. In the event of a tie, between 2 or more teams, to define who will be the best 6th in the 3 series, we will use the following criteria, in decreasing order of importance, to define who will be qualified :
»» The team that scores the most points ;
»» The team with the most wins ;
»» The team that has the best balance between goals scored and goals conceded ;
»» The team with the most goals scored.
Yesterday we launched a new challenge to all participants of the Nations Cup : Predictions!! And we already had some feedback, but it seems that there is not much conviction or belief in the capacity of the teams present in this tournament!
Let's go support your teams, make your Predictions!!
You must make your choice this way :Predictions

3rd -Today we also opened the Whatsapp group of the competition, we hope you have fun there, exchanging ideas and curiosities, and we will update as the lineups arrive, with the contacts of national coaches / captains, but do not forget doubts about the competition, put it here on the topic, and for complaints use the official email of the Nations Cup :
And today at Nations Diary, we are pleased to receive @Dcortezr Chile National coach :
Q : What do you think of the format of this competition?
A : We really like it a lot. Since classic battles were banned, we have not had many opportunities to play tournaments as a team, so this type of competitions with teams of the highest level are always well received from us.
Q : Do you have any suggestions to improve the competition?
A : You can always improve and add new things, but meanwhile our goal is to play the competition, see the dynamics, and then evaluate according to the experience we have in the tournament, we are really looking forward to enjoy it and eventually help to improve different aspects of the competition.
Q : What can you tell, about Chilean team?
A : We are a team with a very strong base that we have been building for just over a year. The work of the last months has been to integrate new managers, instill in them the way of playing and the philosophy that we have as a team. The truth is that we have formed a great team, with a great team atmosphere, which will surely continue like this over time.
Q : What are your objectives for the competition?
A : Our goal as a team is to go as far as possible, I think we really have a winning team, always knowing that the rivals are of a very high level and that any mistakes we make can be crucial for us.
Q : When you select the coaches to represent the National Team, what is the most important thing?
A : The first thing is seriousness, I want players who are really active in the game, players who are always at the disposal of their teammates, players who can potentially be captains for our team. I think one of the great things we have in our favor, is that we have many managers who are leaders within the team, each one contributing what they know and knowing their place in the team, and that is something that gives a lot of peace of mind at the time of putting together a lineup or selecting people for a tournament.
Q : At Nations Cup we will have: "The Diary of the Nations", a casual informative thread within the competition, what do you suggest it be published?
A : It is always good to give recognition to the teams and players that are having outstanding performances, we hope to be continuously appearing in this diary, obviously for good things!
And that´s it folks!! What a pleasure to interview @Dcortezr thank you my friend! Good Luck Chile
Don´t forget to comeback tomorrow, we will have fresh informations and updates! And of course, your favourite moment of the day : Nations Diary!!
Thank you, stay safe and enjoy life!!

Zadałem kilka pytań odnośnie zasad w wątku turniejowym. Poniżej odpowiedzi:
@moltensky said in Nations Cup - Explanation, FAQ, Rules and Discussion:
@dovco_handf Hi! Thank you for your attention to all details concerning Nations Cup 2021!
About your questions:
"1. How many rounds will there be in the tournament? 2?" and "2. How many national teams will advance from the first to the second round?"
There will be 2 rounds, and 16 National Teams will qualify to the next round, as stated previously in (https://forum.onlinesoccermanager.com/topic/59968/nations-cup-explanation-faq-rules-and-discussion/87?page=5)
"3. What will happen to those teams that are eliminated? Or will they play for weaker places in round 2? Is this the end of the tournament for them?"
The National Teams that don't qualify in the first round will be eliminated from the tournament. However, we will organize new editions of the Nations Cup, and then those National Teams will have another chance to prove their value!
"4. Four managers will play in the first round. How many will play in the second round? 4 or 6?"
The lineups for both rounds will be of 4 players, each in a goal (G1, G5, G9, G13). However, between rounds, at least 2 players must be changed. We will consider the lineups posted in the form, where every National Team Coach identifies not only the 4 players that will play the first round, but also the substitutes. For the 2nd round, at least 2 substitutes must be used for the lineup, therefor changing at least 2 of the payers that played in the first round. This information is available here (https://forum.onlinesoccermanager.com/topic/59968/nations-cup-explanation-faq-rules-and-discussion/40?page=2)
Regarding your post about the teams that the Draw dictated for Poland in Group B, it's all correct! And don't worry, we will post not only a League Creation Walkthrough, but also an extensive list of the PM's and players in all leagues, after the lineups are closed.
Thank you, stay safe and enjoy life!!

@moltensky said in Nations Cup - Explanation, FAQ, Rules and Discussion:
Hello Friends!Today we'll focus on some relevant topics, anticipating the Nations Cup 2021 kick off, next Monday, 8 February.
First of all, here are the revised, and definitive REGULATION for the competition: http://bit.ly/NC2021_REGULATION
Second, anticipating the post we'll prepare next Monday, we inform that the LEAGUES must be created between 20h00 and 21h00 CET (Central European Time). We remind you that yesterday we've already posted an extensive Walkthrough to help in the League Creation process (https://forum.onlinesoccermanager.com/topic/59968/nations-cup-explanation-faq-rules-and-discussion/120?page=6)
Also, we remind you that the deadline for the Lineups submission is 24h from closing (the lineups must be posted until 7 February, 23h59 CET). There are still 12 Countries that haven't sent the lineups yet!
Russia, Panama, Egypt, Bolivia, Argentina, Bangladesh, Yemen, Oman, Mexico, Turkey! Hurry up!
The form for line ups is here - https://forms.gle/5qvMqx6EVARVEkpe8
Now, we'll take a look to all the 1st Round Leagues status. As there are some still lineups that haven't been sent yet, there are some players missing. Obviously, next Monday we'll post the final lineups, of every league, to help all PMs identify all the players they need to invite for the 12 leagues.
To help you all identify where all Nations Teams Players were placed after the DRAW, here are the LEAGUES composition so far, still incomplete, as the Lineups Registration deadline is tomorrow. In RED you can identify the PM's (League Creators)
GROUP A
LEAGUE 1A
LEAGUE 2A
LEAGUE 3A
LEAGUE 4A
GROUP B
LEAGUE 1B
+LEAGUE 2B*
LEAGUE 3B
LEAGUE 4B
GROUP C
LEAGUE 1C
LEAGUE 2C
LEAGUE 3C
LEAGUE 4C
We remind you all, this tables are still incomplete, as the LINEUPS registration is still ongoing! Don't worry, next Monday we'll post this tables again! Today the ideia is to help all National Teams Coaches to identify the Leagues and Teams for their selected players in the first round!
Today, we have an interview with @Profezor , Argentina's National Team Couch.
Q-> What do you think, about the format, of this competition?
I think it is a very attractive competition with a great job behind it. The scoring system is original and different from all of them. I congratulate the organisers because we need new ideas to prevent the national teams from disappearing after the ban on classic battles. Likewise, I invite you all to keep fighting for them.Q -> Do you have, any suggestion to improve the competition?
After the competition is over, I think better contributions can be made. It could be bonus points for the league winners. And for the next edition, divide the seeded groups according to the results of the selections in this edition.Q -> What can you tell, about ARGENTINA team?
The Argentine team has been animating the final stages of all competitions for some time. We have won the 3 editions of the American Cup and good results in the WNT. We hope to do well in this very important tournament. There are very strong teams.Q -> What are your goals for the competition?
We would like to fight for the title but for that we will have to work very hard.Q -> When you select the coaches to represent the National team, what is most important?
Commitment and 100% availability. Every time a manager represents the Argentine national team, I ask them to give their best. Teamwork makes us stronger.Q -> In Nations Cup we'll have : "The Nations Diary", a casual news thread inside the competition, what do you suggest to be published?
I would like to meet the managers and national teams. Then you can publish news about the results of the competition.Thank you Profezor! Best of luck to Argentina!
We remind you that the Predictions is still going! Support your National Team by placing it in your Predictions on which National Teams are your favourite to win this Nations Cup Edition!

Te "0" przy nazwach gracza to będą chyba uzupełnione do jutra do 19?@moltensky said in Nations Cup - Explanation, FAQ, Rules and Discussion:
Hello Friends!
The Lineups submission period is officially closed!
43 National Teams have posted their lineups, out of the 47 that have registered to Nations Cup 2021. Unfortunately, Russia (Group C), Bangladesh, Yemen and Oman (all from Group B) didn't submit their lineups, which means that we'll have 5 CPU's instead of the initially 1 foreseen. These 4 National Teams are, therefore, banned from this competition for the period of 1 year, and can't participate in the next edition.
Due do this unexpected, and regrettable, situation, NC Staff has deliberated that the qualifying process to the Final Round of 16 will be as follows, to level the presence of 4 CPU National Teams in Group B, and 1 CPU National Team in Group C:
-
The National Teams that finish in the 5 first positions in Group A, B and C will qualify to the Final Round of 16 (5x3, 15 in total);
-
The National Team that finishes in the 6th place in Group A will complete the pool of 16 National Teams in the Final Round.
The ideia is to even the competition, as Group A will be the only one without CPU's, therefore more competitive.
Tomorrow is the big day! We remember all managers that the LEAGUES MUST BE CREATED between 21h00 and 22h00 CET.
All PM's are identified, and NC Staff is already contacting National Teams Coaches or Captains to brief about the procedures. Here is the final table:
Once again, we remember all PM's that we've already made an extensive Walkthrough with the League Creation Procedures:
https://forum.onlinesoccermanager.com/topic/59968/nations-cup-explanation-faq-rules-and-discussion/120?page=6Tomorrow morning we'll make a post to list all the 12 Leagues, with all the registered Managers. Also, as told before, we are contacting directly all National Teams Representatives to give them the list so that PM's can copy the nicknames of all Managers and add them as friends in OSM, to make the task of creating the leagues easier.
Finally, the REGULATION for this competition is available here:
http://bit.ly/NC2021_REGULATIONWe've been questioned if Legend and In Form Players transfers were allowed. Yes, they are allowed. Its up to Managers if they want to spend the Boss Coins needed to do so.
Today we have an interview with Hugo Mainguy, French National Team Coach!
Q-> What do you think, about the format, of this competition?
A -> I think it's a good idea! It's nice to have national team competitions again the bonuses for the first and last places are a little extreme but it will be fun to see how it goes! Congratulations to you guys for organising this!Q -> Do you have, any suggestion to improve the competition?
A -> Maybe make the bonuses a bit smaller, but it's fine! Happy to be a part of a great competitionQ -> What can you tell, about FRENCH team?
A-> The french team is doing well!! There are a lot of players with great levem and potential, and It's a pleasure to see the best players from french crews come together. Our performance are usually good but not exceptional, so i hope this changes in this TournamentQ -> What are your goals for the competition?
A -> Go as far as possible, of course! We of course hope to reach the final, and since that is also what we did at the Amateur World Cup, we hope to do even better with maybe a podium or a victoryQ -> When you select the coaches to represent the National team, what is most important?
A -> We try to build up our team so that it does not change too much over time, and as I know the French community quite well in general, I can find players if needed, or ask friends if they know of good players. Our main criteria is of course the level, but it's important that managers communicate a lot with each other and love the country that they represent!Q -> In Nations Cup we'll have : "The Nations Diary", a casual news thread inside the competition, what do you suggest to be published?
A -> This is already a great start, I like reading the interviews! Maybe info about some important games ahead of time, or asking players about their performance during the tournament, or even finding interesting statistics... I'm sure you guys will do something great! Keep it up!Thank you @H-Mainguy! Best of luck to France!
Predictions is one day from finishing! You have less than 24 hours to support your National Team by placing it in your list of which National Teams are your favourites to win this Nations Cup Edition!
You must post your choice this way :
