As far as I'm aware, 360 BCs for a league with 128 teams is not more expensive than regular leagues
It's more expensive because managers have to pay an entrance fee that goes directly to GB.
Is it that hard to once in your life to get info before make these kind of statements?
If you're not playing one, just go to previous page and check what's written in there and you'll see that from all the fees, only 360 are taken by OSM as organisational costs, remaining fees are split in prizes. From best 32 onward, managers get prizes.
@specialone I have read that. And it matches exactly what I said: the new "promotion" is more expensive than a normal league or cup because we pay an entrance fee (for organisational costs).
But anyway, let stop this discussion. I am not going to play this tournament anyway even when one of my current leagues ends.

It would be great If we could see the progress of "recruiting managers" phase. Its been 15-16hours since I entered this new tournament and I still havent been put into one that started.. Would be good If I could see how many more managers are we waiting before we start the league (100/128 lets say).

It would be great If we could see the progress of "recruiting managers" phase. Its been 15-16hours since I entered this new tournament and I still havent been put into one that started.. Would be good If I could see how many more managers are we waiting before we start the league (100/128 lets say).
@majstor-matt as a temporary solution, i can advise you to ask a friend to go to the web version and look at the list of managers of your league. As i see, your league has already started. But yeah, it would be great for fantasy league for instance
Just give it some time and you'll find out that medals will be more balanced and according to the manager level/skills.

Historical Tournament: World 1986
Every month we give you the opportunity to play a temporarily available Tournament! This month: World 1986.

@alyssagb Will there be a Copa America tournament next month? In real life this tournament starts on June 11. I hope we can play this NT tournament soon.
Also this year we have summer Olympics, including soccer! There is currently no Olympics tournament, but only a league. It would be nice if we can play the real Olympics tournament this summer, the Olympics also creates an opportunity to introduce the first women tournament in OSM.

NEW TOURNAMENT: CHAMPIONS BATTLE
We have added a new League to OSM: Champions Battle!Domestic leagues battled it out and the champions presented themselves. To celebrate this, you can now play in the Champions Battle, a League with the champions of the biggest football leagues.
Do you choose English champions Manchester City? Or would you rather pick Italian champions Inter Milan or German champions Bayern Munich?

One year ago we launched a new league with 16 teams, balanced by 4 groups with 4 teams per group.
This league was a real success on the community and we had some requests for a similar league, but with less teams.
We heard you and here you've it: Community League S
As you may have guessed already S stands for small and we added and M on the old one, standing for Medium.
This league follows same idea as previous one with less teams, which means that it's suitable for competitions with less participants! It's a 12 teams league, balanced by 4 groups with 3 teams per group.
Have fun playing it!

@specialone Great stuff. As I already said on FB, this will help to build up some diversity in community organized competitions which is great.
I would only propose one more league ("L" one
) where there will be 20 teams maybe with 4 or 5 groups. Also when dividing groups, I would propose bigger differences:
Group A : 195-220M values
Group B: 120-140M values
Group C : 75-85M values
Group D : 15-25M valuesWhy bigger differences? That way It would be harder to play lower goals and competition would be better. This current system is nice but in week 5 all teams are already same due to transfers and goals become irrelevant.
