On 24/07 Information on Leagues Creation time, definition of the League to play and List of All Leagues compositions, with identification of PM´s;
On 25/07 League Creation Walkthrough;
On 26/07 Beginning of the 3rd Round.
These times and dates may change as a result of an unforeseen event.
️ Before we start, we wish to inform all National Teams in competition that, unfortunately, Nigeria U21 didn't fill the Round 3 Lineups Registration Form in due time, hence leaving this Qualification Phase last round with 4 CPU teams in leagues EF. NC Staff tried, by all mains available, to help the Nigeria U21 National Team Coach find a solution in time, but that was not possible. Therefor, in the Battle between Nigeria U21 and Kenya U21, there will be a W.O., with Kenya U21 scoring 500 points, and Nigeria U21, -500 points. Also, this leaves 4 leagues (the EF set) with 4 CPU teams in it.

As Nigeria U21 G5 was the designed PM for Round 3 League 1EF, and because of the explained above, NC Staff has decided to make a draw to find a PM within the Managers of this League. Taking in consideration that, with this 3 rounds concept, half of the National Teams will create leagues 2 times, and another half will create only 1 time, to even the situation, NC Staff has decided to exclude from this draw the Mangers who belong to National Teams that are already creating Leagues in this Round, leaving the alegible PM's list resumed to:
Alfonso75 (Spain U21 )
Crin90 (Australia U21 )
Kay Mazey (Kenya U21 )
Séder Márk (Hungary U21 )

Today we are going to talk in detail about the
3rd Round
, identifying the Leagues for each Group, the PM's who will create them and the creation time defined for this process. Tomorrow we will complement this with a walkthrough explaining each step of creating the leagues, and we will reinforce the vital information so that everything runs as smoothly as possible, until the start of this3rd Round
!The league chosen for the 3rd Round is the Hong Kong League. Below we can check the pairing of teams that play at home and those that play away.
Let's use the 3rd Round Battle between India and Iran (Group A) as an example :

Maria01Mu️ We kindly ask all PM's to pay attention to 2 very important issues: the name of the managers and the name of the leagues.
️ We advise PM's to copy the names that are in the list of the respective league, and add these managers to the list of your friends in the game, in order to be easier when sending invitations to the league.
️ Attention! The way the names are written on the list is the correct way, and the only way to get the invitations to your league managers. As for the name of the leagues, it is exactly as it is in the list, that you should name your leagues, and this is very important for the NC staff to monitor the leagues, either on the day they are created or throughout the competition.
️ As for the league creation schedule, we decided to keep a schedule similar to Round 1 and 2, in order to be as fair as possible for everyone, remember that we have more than 12 time zones between the different Nations participating in the competition. So the time for creating leagues will be:
11:30 am CET until 1:30 pm CET on 26/07
We ask the PM's that, in case they are not available to create their Leagues at the stipulated time, to contact the NC staff or your National Coaches, to avoid delays or advances in the creation of Leagues to avoid penalties and delays in starting the 3rd round.
We also ask, as a courtesy, to the PM's to send a message through the game, to the managers of the Leagues they will create, informing them of the approximate time they will create them. Attention! This action is not mandatory, just a way for everyone to organize themselves, in order to enter their respective Leagues as soon as possible and thus all have equal opportunities.

Podobnie jak w przypadku Nations Cup 2021, dziś pod koniec drugiej rundy prezentowany jest prowizoryczny Ranking Nations Cup U21.
@apocalipse4 said in Nations Cup U21 - Explanation, FAQ, Rules and Discussion:
Hello my friends,
"In general, in human nature there is more foolishness than wisdom." - Francis Bacon
What a day we had today!
As we informed as soon as we detected the problem, it was necessary to change the league in which it would be used in the 3rd round, due to the update of the Hong Kong League, promoted by GB, in one of its regular updates. The solution found was the League of Canada, which has not changed and has squad values similar to the League of Hong Kong, but above all it remains a league of 8 teams.
Fortunately with the help of all National coaches, it was possible to get this information to all PMs and also to the other managers who will participate in the different leagues of the different groups. Thus ensuring that this 1st day of pre-season would not be lost in any league, so that the development of the competition would be as normal as possible.
All this operation was only possible thanks to the prompt collaboration of @SpecialOne that as soon as he was informed of the problem that arose, he acted swiftly and objectively, in order to ensure that the competition was not interrupted, and that no one was harmed in the process. On behalf of the NC staff, we appreciate this crucial support and help.
Unfortunately, and perhaps because of the short time between our announcement, after the league issue was resolved, there was a penalty for wrongly choosing the pre-defined team. We would also like to thank the PMs who reacted quickly and following the indications that we transmitted either directly or through the National coaches, they sent invitations to join the same leagues to the other coaches of the respective leagues. Tomorrow we will publish the updated penalty table.
The purpose of creating the Nations Cup 2021 and the Nations Cup U21, in addition to recovering the lost space of National team competitions, is and will always be to bring communities and Nations closer together based on the basic principles of healthy coexistence, and more noble humanitarian principles, such as Liberty, Fraternity and Equality and which more commonly in the world of sport we designate as : Fair Play. We know that we can only achieve this goal with the help of all communities and their interlocutors, we make this appeal again to ALL to adopt these principles so that in addition to having fun with the game we love so much, we can also have true global harmony among all participants in these competitions. If we have to adopt a more restrictive regulation, to avoid anti-Fair Play behavior, we all lose out, but don't be mistaken for those who still haven't realized that we won't give up if this is the only way to guarantee that there will be sporting truth.Until a few moments ago before writing this publication, this was the state of play regarding the creation of leagues, on the 1st day of the 3rd round of the Nations Cup U21 :

Hi buddies! I´m back! Beats Bytes in da house to rock your world! While I was recovering energy for this round 3, the investigation team that works with me, was preparing a report, which will give a preview of what could happen in this decisive round! Let's see the work the boys prepared!
Let's start with Group A, where anything can happen in this round. Brazil starts in front, the result of 6 points won in 2 battles, but receives Italy that after a brilliant start against Iran, lost against India. India will perhaps have an "easier" task against Iran, which no longer has a chance of reaching the Final. So we have 3 teams for 2 places, yet and at the risk of being unfair, I believe that from what I've seen in the previous rounds, Brazil and India will qualify for the Final. But this is the OSM and predictions sometimes fail completely! It is certain that we will have a great battle between Brazil and Italy in which every detail will be important for the outcome of this confrontation.
In Group B, we will have the leader Poland playing away against Indonesia who, after losing the previous battles, are already out of the Final, since Poland is qualified for the Final and has in this battle the possibility of adding 3 more points and winning become champion in this group. In another battle of this group, Venezuela will compete with Morocco for the passport to the Final. My guess goes to the qualification of Poland and Venezuela, which from what they have shown in the other battles will be more solid and will have more arguments in this final decision. But surely Morrocco will fight for their place in the Final, so nothing is granted for Venezuela!
Egypt, which leads Group C with 6 points, will receive Argentina, who have in this battle the opportunity to redeem themselves from the defeat inflicted by the U.A.E. In the other battle of this group, the U.A.E. receive the already eliminated Ukraine and can decide their future in the competition reaching the victory that will give them 6 points at the end of the 3 rounds. I believe that those selected will be Egypt and the U.A.E. which proved to be consistent and very competitive, but without totally discarding the possibilities of Argentina "turning" the course of events.
Portugal that receives the "doomed" Colombia in the 3rd round, certainly hoping to add the 3 points and reach the title of champion of the group, which would be the final touch, after guaranteeing qualification for the Final. But attention will be focused on the confrontation between France and Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan was one of the highlighted teams in the 1st round making an overwhelming battle, France recovered in the last round adding the first points. My guess goes to Portugal and Azerbaijan, which will have to be very consistent to defeat France and thus reach the Final.
In Group E, Spain leading the group will play away against Bosnia, in one of the most interesting battles of the 3rd round. Bosnia was surprised by rookie Australia in the previous round and will have to be at a very high level to overcome Spain, which is certainly already thinking about the possibility of being group champion and confirming its presence in the Final. As incredible as it may seem, Uruguay, which has not scored any points yet, could reach qualification, needing for that to beat Australia and a victory for Spain over Bosnia! I think that Spain and Uruguay will qualify for the Final due to the competitive level they showed in the battle they played against each other in the last round, but Australia can surprise again!
Group F is the only one that has already been defined, with the qualification of Hungary and Peru, and all that remains is to know who will be the champion of the group, in this battle that opposes the 2 qualified for the Final. Although both teams are very balanced, I think that Hungary will eventually win this battle and win the title of champion of Group F.The countdown has already started, and in just over 24 hours, the magic will return and we will have the opportunity to witness epic battles! Let the games begin! Sayonara! 🤩
Tonight in Blog of the Nations, we receive the National coach of Portugal one of the few teams already qualified for the Final of Nations Cup U21, please welcome @bababufias
Q : The basis of Nations Cup U21 is the concept of U21 Manager. Do you think the criteria is well defined? If not, can you tell us what it should be instead?
A : I think the criteria are well defined, I think only in the qualifying phase. It should not be allowed to call the two most experienced players, since the competition should only be for the under21.Q : What is your opinion about the competition rules? What can be improved?
A : I think the rules are very well done and I don't think there is anything to add.Q : After 2 rounds of qualifying, what is your opinion on the quality and format of the Tournament?
A : I think the format could improve, since the qualifying phase is done in one way and the final is done in another way, I think it should be improved, or all in the same way, or in another way better than the competition was more uniform.Q : With qualification for the Final guaranteed, what is your next objective?
A : So far we have proven to be much superior to our opponents but that's worth what it counts, we have very good players for the short playing time they have, the first objective was reached which was qualification, now it's to do the best in the final when it starts, and the goal is to reach the highest place, so in my opinion Portugal is a serious candidate for the title.Q : Do you think this competition fulfilled its main objective, to launch new generations of managers at the level of National teams? Why?
A : The competition gave novice players the opportunity to show themselves and make themselves known, these competitions are very important for the growth of players and their enthusiasm for the game, finally I want to thank the organization for all the work and effort and delivery to make this competition which is a lot of work on behalf of OSM players around the world.Thank you Rui not only for this constructive interview, but also for the kind words in relation to the work developed by the NC staff. It is very important for us to understand what we are doing well and what can be improved in terms of competition, and for that it is essential to listen to the National coaches and the community involved in these competitions. The art of knowing how to listen is essential to build bridges to the future. Good luck Portugal! Boa sorte para a equipa das Quinas!
We close this edition of Blog of the Nations looking forward to the start of the competition! Who will make the Final? Who will be the 3rd round MVP? These and other questions will be answered in the coming days, as soon as the kick-off is given, History will begin to be written! We count on you!

@apocalipse4 said in Nations Cup U21 - Explanation, FAQ, Rules and Discussion:
Hello my friends,
"I've suffered for many things in my life. Most of them never existed." - Mark Twain
The race is on! 🤩
Yesterday began the 3rd qualifying round of the Nations Cup U21. It will be the decision round for many National teams. We will update the leagues and groups, the same way we did in the 2nd round, so there will always be a delay in relation to the competition schedule, this because some leagues simulate too late. Today we will publish all groups, starting tomorrow, we will publish alternate groups, when we reach the middle of the season, we will publish all groups again, as well as at the end of the round. We hope that you understand this decision.
Remember, that 12 National teams qualify for the Final of the Nations Cup U21, that is, the top 2 in each of the 6 groups. Without further delay, let's see how the 1st game of this last round of qualifying went.Group A
India U21
695
Iran U21489
Brazil U21
574
Italy U21370
The group of "3 aces" will be decided on the small details, India did not want to leave anything to chance, and took the lead in the battle against Iran, with a safety "pad" of 206 points! Contrary to what many predicted, as for an "easier" battle, the Iranians will certainly have another idea, and will do everything to leave the competition with a victory!
In the clash of titans that occurs in the other battle of Group A, Brazil took the lead with 204 points ahead of Italy! But the Italians are a tough "bone" to crack, and must already be outlining a way to turn this battle in their favor. I fear that the hearts of many will not bear these emotions until the end!Group B
Indonesia U21
553
Poland U21762
Morocco U21
344
Venezuela U21301
Although they are already qualified for the Final, Poland entered determined to secure the title of Group B, having an advantage of 209 points over Indonesia. But we've seen Indonesia overcome other obstacles before, and we doubt this is the 1st time they won't!
In the "all or nothing" battle between Morocco and Venezuela, the Moroccans took the lead by a margin of 43 points! As we expected, this will be one of the most exciting battles of this round. It's not even worth it to be "taking guesses"!Group C
United Arab Emirates U21
538
Ukraine U21119
Egypt U21
596
Argentina U21863
Knowing that they only depend on themselves to guarantee their presence in the Final, the U.A.E. they went in with "everything" to make sure it did, and they have a 419 point lead over Ukraine! However, we must not assume that this battle is already decided, because Ukrainian pride will be a factor of resilience in this outcome!
Respecting the leader of the group, but knowing that they would have to overcome themselves, due to the quality of the opponent, Argentina did not "facilitate" in the 1st game and took a 267 point advantage over Egypt! Knowing that in case of defeat, they may not reach the Final, the Egyptians are guaranteed to fight for "their" place in the Final!Group D
Portugal U21
203
Colombia U21588
France U21
710
Azerbaijan U21484
Colombia entered the 3rd round willing to show that they deserve respect, as they have a 385 point advantage over Portugal! Where was this Colombia?! However, we cannot forget that Portugal at the end of the first 2 rounds, in addition to ensuring their presence in the Final, had an excellent campaign. Certainly they will still have a say in this battle.
As for France, they entered the battle against Azerbaijan very strongly, and have an advantage of 226 points. With a place in the Final up for grabs in this battle, the Azeris will fight to reverse this less positive start, and they have the talent to do so!Group E
Bosnia and Herzegovina U21
196
Spain U21321
Uruguay U21
663
Australia U21976
For now, Spain took the lead in the battle against Bosnia and Herzgovina, with a lead of 125 points. Knowing that qualification for the Final is at stake, we can expect an energetic reaction from the Bosnians, who still have 13 games to turn the tide of this battle.
In the other battle of this Group E, which could guarantee a presence in the Final, Australia continues to surprise and is beating Uruguay by 313 points of difference. But from what we saw the Uruguayans face Spain, there are still many games to define this battle!Group F
Nigeria U21
-500
Kenya U21480
NOTE
: Due to Nigeria's exclusion from the 3rd round, by W.O. we present the table because of Kenya's performance.Peru U21
609
Hungary U211086
In Group F, the battle of the "champions" began in full swing with Hungary outperforming Peru by a 477 point lead! But we need to bear in mind that with Nigeria's absence these numbers are a bit "inflated"! Anyway, as predicted it will be a very close battle, and we will certainly still have several twists in this result!

We started today, on Blog of the Nations, a new cycle of interviews, with the winners of the leagues in the 2nd round. And our 1st guest, won the League 2AB and comes from Venezuela please give a warm welcome to @Gaboo99
Congratulations on winning the league in round 2!
Thank you very much: D. A very fought round 2 for the Venezuelan team but with an obligation to win it. In particular, a very closed league that was fought from start to finish with a lot of effort, but above all managing to contribute a lot to the Venezuelan national team. Now fight it all in this round 3 to achieve the pass to the final .
Q : How did you get to know OSM?**
A : This question is very particular, I knew OSM years ago, type 2013 -2014 of course before the game was nothing to which it is now many changes and many more levels. At that time I played for about a year or less but I left it for sports and university issues, I had no time and little interest.
My return is unfortunately due to issues of the pandemic in approximately August 2020, I had free time and my thing is always football, I started again with my new account since I could not recover the previous one, but the game very changed, playing many things. something much more interesting for me since it was something more competitive than just for fun. Now I can do both I have fun but I compete hard in the OSM community.Q : Do you play other football management games? If so, which?
A : Yes of course I have always played Console games like PES and FIFA. At the moment I am only playing PES via app and OSM.Q : Do you have any "masters" in the game? If so, how important is it to your career?
A : As such teachers NO. But I have shared with many managers since I started this year that I have been playing. I have 2 managers with very active communication that we always look for variants and we learn day by day from each other. The first @ Antonio_2610_1 started with me from all this year practically, I met him at the time in a clan called XllSUPERSTARllX, both leaving that clan and passing through clans like The Chamos Team (Very brief) and Latin Dragons in the latter our house for very long time and we began to compete in the community and being captains of it. In Dragones I met @EuroNava who is the other manager with whom we have always been learning a lot and between all of us improving day by day. From Dragones I am given the opportunity to enter the CNV, and thus make ourselves known a little more and climbing in the game regarding National teams. But very importantly, we received the invitation from our Hichas de Futbol house, it made me wonder whether or not I would accept to change clan. But accept because Soccer Fans is the largest in the Hispanic community and fights every tournament and that's what I wanted to be fighting everything. Then in HDF in the short term we learned a lot and in particular I learned too much, such as to be fighting the descent of the Master Hispano at this time to be champion of a league as was round 2 of the U21 World Cup. And I have no doubt to get a pass to the World Cup final.
In summary I want to thank my clan FUTBOL HINCHAS for their trust and that day by day they are my greatest Teachers: D. And without leaving behind the leaders that I have had throughout this year such as @Alberto el torto - @ robfer15 - @ValenTaverna: D
Q : Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar are great stars of world football. Do you have a favorite player on OSM? Why?
A : The 3 are great players who will be history for the future. But in particular my favorite player and the greatest in history is Ronaldo Nazario. At OSM I have 3 favorite players that I always try to have in my teams, Neymar, Lautano Martinez and Milikovic-Savic. Both forwards Ney and Martinez always give me something in every game, be it their assist or their goal, especially for my style of play, they give me full performance. The same thing happens to me with the Serbian, he is tough and always achieves.Q : The OSM has been evolving, creating new challenges for managers from time to time. Do you have any suggestions that you can value the game in the short term?
A : Above all, I would say to make the National Competitions of each country official, so that they take the importance they should have, create a league where we as managers, moderators and tournament organizers can mold, randomly set up their leagues or tournaments with different clubs in each country. In particular, with the subject of under 21 competitions, they are maintained throughout the year so that there is equality between the majors and under 21 in order to compete equally.
I appreciate the opportunity for the interview and for the very good organization of this World Cup. Greetings. What a pleasure to conduct this interview with such an interesting and engaging coach! Thank you Gabriel for this spectacular moment which is also a legacy for the new generations of managers in our community. We wish you and Venezuela good luck for the 3rd round!

No, it is the first soccer simulator I play.Q : Do you have any "teacher" in the game? If you do, how important is it in your career?
I learned alone at the beginning, then together with three managers Machuqueta, Gorkaogan and Arzaiz we exchanged impressions, tactics and others.Q : Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar are great Stars of World football. Do you have any favorite players in OSM? Why?
I'll put one per line:
Greenwood
Pedri

Yesterday we announced the Summer break which will end on August 30th at 00:00, with the opening of the lineup registration phase. But we forgot to mention an important procedure, which will be the PM draw for the Final Leagues. As we mentioned before, National teams that created Leagues twice in qualifying will be exempt from this draw. We will return to this process in more detail to clarify any doubts, closer to the date set for the PM draw. The information published yesterday has already been edited to include this process.
Let´s remember the calendar for the Final of the Nations Cup U21 :

»» From 30/08 at 00:00 CET until 03/09 at 23:59 CET lineup registration phase ;

»» On 04/09 publication of manager list and League annoucement, PM draw ;

Q : The basis of Nations Cup U21 is the concept of U21 Manager. Do you think the criteria is well defined? If not, can you tell us what it should be instead?
A : I think the U21 criteria is a good one, and is well defined. But to me, it is even more important that it remain the same for all U21 competitions. This was our first U21 competition, and we had to create a team, which I hope we will be able to use again in similar tournaments!Q : In the 1st edition of Nations Cup U21, it is allowed to include in the National teams lineup, for the Qualifying Phase, 1 manager who is not U21. Do you agree with this idea? Why?
A : I prefer not to play with managers who are not U21, and we used only U21 managers. It may be harder for some national teams, but if there were a poll on this question, I would vote for only U21 managers. I am sure that there are a few good young players for all the countries that may want to participateQ : What is your opinion about the competition rules? What can be improved?
A : I found the rules very good, but one point that could be improved was that we were not really playing "against" a team, we were just trying to score as many points as possible and our total did not depend on the other team. To change that, you could rank the players, not on their league position, but on their position among the 8 players. (So the best one is first, the second best second, and so on). I don't know if it will be better but it is worth tryingQ : After 2 rounds of qualifying, what is your opinion on the quality and format of the Tournament?
A : The format was great, and I like that every national team could play at least 3 times, unlike in the Nations Cup. This was great, because creating a team for just one season would have been very sad. If you do the Nations Cup again (not U21), I would like to see this format too!Q : Your National team didn't make it to the Final. What failed? What are your plans for the future?
A : We had some very strong opponents, and during the decisive battle, we lost to Azerbaijan in the very last days. They were better than us on this battle, but I hope that once our U21 selection becomes more experimented, we will be able to do more!Q : Do you think this competition fulfilled its main objective, to launch new generations of managers at the level of National teams? Why?
A : I think the competition is fulfilling its objective very well! We have had the chance to see new players, both in our team and other teams, and hope that many of them will keep playing with the main national team soon!
Congratulations to all of you for running the tournament, it was very well managed and always interesting to follow! Hope to see moreThank you Hugo for this wonderful interview! It´s always a pleasure to ear your suggestions and to share with the community your thoughts. Until then, take the opportunity to rest and have fun with your friends and family! Croatia here i go!Tonight in the 68th edition of Blog of the Nations, we receive the National coach of Azerbaijan please welcome @Sabit-Mamedov
Q : The basis of Nations Cup U21 is the concept of U21 Manager. Do you think the criteria is well defined? If not, can you tell us what it should be instead?
A : It's fine the current system of defining U21 manager. But in the future maybe we can discuss it and change the match limit from 700 to 1000 for example.Q : In the 1st edition of Nations Cup U21, it is allowed to include in the National teams lineup, for the Qualifying Phase, 1 manager who is not U21. Do you agree with this idea? Why?
A : Yes, agree. Because it's similar to Olympic system, where there's allowed to pick few players, who are not in U21 cathegory.Q : What is your opinion about the competition rules? What can be improved?
A : There can be added instant sales.Q : After 2 rounds of qualifying, what is your opinion on the quality and format of the Tournament?
A : The organizations is high class. There are many new features like performance analysis of the teams, MVP of every round etc. All these bring quality and interest to the tournament.Q : With qualification for the Final guaranteed, what is your next objective?
A : Our goal is the same. To show our best performance.Q : Do you think this competition fulfilled its main objective, to launch new generations of managers at the level of National teams? Why?
A : I think yes. Cause we can see new names right now at such tournaments. And all these names will be participating at Nations Cup 2022 in their national teams. Also it's very useful forum for crews to transfer the best managers to their squad.Thank you Sabit for this great interview! It´s always important for us and the community to listen and analyse your proposals. On behalf of the NC staff we thank your kind words towards the work we´ve been developing since the creation of the Nations Cup 2021. We wish Azerbaijan good luck to the Final! Uğurlar Azərbaycan!

Please make the lineup registrations as soon as possible, so that we can check if you are in compliance with the regulations, and avoid delays in the start of the competition, as well as in case there is a need to change managers.

Q : The basis of Nations Cup U21 is the concept of U21 Manager. Do you think the criteria is well defined? If not, can you tell us what it should be instead?
A : I think the criteria for the NC U21 is great!Q : In the 1st edition of Nations Cup U21, it is allowed to include in the National teams lineup, for the Qualifying Phase, 1 manager who is not U21. Do you agree with this idea? Why?
A : Sure! Not all teams have all their managers fulfilling the criteria for U21 plus having one senior player guiding the team makes this idea great!Q : What is your opinion about the competition rules? What can be improved?
A : I think the rules are spot on and I really can't think of anything better than what we have at the moment!Q : After 2 rounds of qualifying, what is your opinion on the quality and format of the Tournament?
A : The quality of the format is not bad at the moment and I believe there is room for improvement and any idea that is put forward by the organization to improve it will be welcomed!Q : Your National team didn't make it to the Final. What failed? What are your plans for the future?
A : Experience! Lack of experience was the main factor for our exit from the competition after the second round. We are making plans at the moment though which I won't wanna disclose but we are looking to improve every areas before the commencement of the next tournament!Q : Do you think this competition fulfilled its main objective, to launch new generations of managers at the level of National teams? Why?
A : Yes, it did. Using my team as a case study, before now, most of our managers don't really play together but the tournament changed that and now our managers have begin to play together and are even trying new things out to better their game and gain more experience!
Thanks!Thank you Jamiu for this great interview! It was a pleasure to welcome Nigeria into the Nations Cup family! And it was also a pleasant surprise to see the level of competitiveness they demonstrated in the tournament.
Unfortunately, they didn't make it to the Final, we hope they'll come back to participate in the Nations Cup 2022! Until then we wish Nigeria good luck!We prepared a little surprise for everyone, the presentation of the Final of the Nations Cup U21!

Q : The basis of the Cup U21 is the concept of Manager U21. Do you think the criteria are well defined? If not, can you tell us what should be instead?
A : It seems to me that it is well defined, I would not change anything at the moment.Q : In the 1st edition of the Nations Cup U21, it is allowed to include in the line-up of the National Teams, for the Qualifying Phase, 1 coach other than U21. Do you agree with this idea? Why?
A : It is a bit confusing since I did not understand that rule very well, since if they can allow someone who has more than 700 games, they can include someone who has less than 150 games, for example, a coach who is just starting in the competitive and I am already showing an excellent level and I cannot participate, it lowers it a bit hahaha is my humble opinion, but of course at least experience is needed for these types of tournaments between teams.Q : What is your opinion on the competition rules? What can be improved?
A : The only thing I did not like was that a coach who is not from the U21 was allowed, since it does not leave all countries on an equal footing, since not all of us have enough coaches, for example, with no intention of offending anyone A coach who is not from the U21 of Peru is not the same as a coach who is not from the U21 From Portugal, in Peru there are not many coaches, on the other hand in Portugal there are in quantity, it is a clear disadvantage to allow at least one player who is not from the U21 and much less that powers such as Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, France or Spain are allowed this type of rule, it benefits them too much but hey, it's my humble opinion .Q : After 2 qualifying rounds, what is your opinion on the quality and format of the Tournament?
A : I like the format too much, I fell in love with this format, I think it should remain as it is very attractive, the position bonuses are also excellent, I would not change the tournament format at all.Q : With guaranteed qualification for the final, what is your next goal?
A : Of course to champion, perhaps Peru is not one of the great favorites, we come from a tournament where we were runners-up and with a lot of desire to Champion in the Nations Cup, we have a lot of chocolate to be able to fight for the championship.Q : Do you think this competition fulfilled its main objective, to launch new generations of coaches at the national team level? Why?
A : Yes, the format guarantees the participation of many coaches but that already depends on the U21 coach.Thank you Jose for this fantastic interview. It is very important to hear your opinion and that of other National coaches, so that we have a sense of the work that has been done well, but fundamentally which aspects of the competition can still be improved. Good Luck Peru!
And now enjoy the Nations Cup U21 hymn!

Our guest, today, in
Blog of the Nations
is @Paniyath , National Team Coach of India U21 !Q : The basis of Nations Cup U21 is the concept of U21 Manager. Do you think the criteria is well defined? If not, can you tell us what it should be instead?
It has been well defined for this edition however, I think in the next edition some improvements can be made. I agree with having a minimum amount of games to be eligible and 150 seems fine but I think the maximum limit of 700 games is too less and would prefer not having such limit.Q : In the 1st edition of Nations Cup U21, it is allowed to include in the National teams lineup, for the Qualifying Phase, 1 manager who is not U21. Do you agree with this idea? Why?
Yes, in this edition, it was useful to have 1 non U21 manager in the lineup as there were some managers who exceeded the number of games in their slots and they would be provided a chance to play as a non U21 manager this way and it is always good to have one experienced manager to help out the new managers in the team.Q : What is your opinion about the competition rules? What can be improved?
The rules were fine, I would like to see immediate sales allowed next time.Q : After 2 rounds of qualifying, what is your opinion on the quality and format of the Tournament?
The format was more unpredictable this time and how tight our group was, we couldn’t relax even for one round.
Maybe you can consider having 5 managers next time and have it in a 10 team league in this format to make the rounds bit longer and also gives more new managers a chance to test themselves out.Q : Your National team didn't make it to the Final. What failed? What are your plans for the future?
It was a group of small margins and it lived up to the tag of being the “group of death”. We were unfortunate to not qualify because of our point difference despite finishing on 6 points. Every battle was tough and went to the final day. It was exciting in that sense and unpredictable and credit goes to our tough opponents like Italy, Brazil and Iran.
As for our team, they were all new managers who were experiencing this incredible high level of competition for the first time so I was proud of them that they took every battle to the last day and won 2 of them. That first round defeat to Brazil by only 8 points proved decisive in the group as we were only one result away from qualifying so there’s plenty of positives our young team can take from this experience.Q : Do you think this competition fulfilled its main objective, to launch new generations of managers at the level of National teams? Why?
Definitely. That was the aim for us in this tournament. We needed to introduce some of our new managers to a high level competition like U21 Nations Cup, which they aren’t used to and learn from it. And it was great to see not only the potential and positives from our young Indian team but also some really good managers from other nations. This competition was a success and a must have for every national team to introduce new managers into the biggest stage.Thank you @Paniyath ! Unfortunately India U21 won't have the chance to win this 1st edition of Nations Cup U21, like the "grown ups" did in Nations Cup! But we're sure we can count with you in the next editions! Best of luck to India! Go Tigers!

Hey, hey, hey! What's up my beloved fans?! Missed me? I believe you did, as much as I've missed you! The Nations Cup U21 Final is already warming up! What a thrill to see all those Community League Squads constantly improving! The time to choose well is now! Let's go!!!
Today I'll start the analysis of the 12 National Teams that will be present in the Final!
So, my first pick will be Morocco U21 !
This National Team ended 2nd in Group B, with 2 wins and 1 defeat, scoring 6 points.
In the 1st Round of the Qualifying Phase, they've won the battle agains Indonesia U21 (761-696), in a quite balanced clash. The Morocco U21 MVP of this round was @ayratbi , who, with a G1 team, ended 2nd in League 3AB (8w, 2d, 4l, 26 points), scoring 266 points for the National Team score (35% of the total). This manager also accomplished the best squad evolution in Morocco U21 Team in this round, with 301 M evolution.
The only defeat they had in the Qualifying Phase was against Poland U21, in the 2nd round (839-920), in another balanced battle. In this round, the Morocco U21 player that performed better was @oussaada-hicham , after ending 2nd in League 3AB (7w, 5d, 2l, 26 points), with a G3 team, scoring 317 points (38% of the Team total).
Finally, in Round 3, Morocco U21 was able to conquer a place in the Final, after winning clearly the battle against Venezuela U21 (625-320). @ayratbi was, once again, the MVP of the lineup, ending 1st with a G1 team in League 2AB (8w, 6d, 0l, 30 points), scoring 396 points (62% os the Team total), being, therefor, decisive for Morocco U21 win in the battle, and in the qualification for the Final!
Now, for the FINAL, the Morocco U21 line up will be:
G1 @Otman-zaabali
G4 @Zakaria-el11
G7 @AYMANEABE
G10 @oussaada-hichamThis lineup mixes experience with fresh blood, so probably we'll have Morocco U21 running in the outer lanes, luring for a surprise. Let's wait and see!
Good luck mates!
Beats is Out! Tomorrow I'll be back with another Finalist National Team analysis! See ya!
Today we're pleased to host, here in
Blog of the Nations
, @daniel-armfield , National Team Coach of Colombia !Q : The basis of Nations Cup U21 is the concept of U21 Manager. Do you think the criteria is well defined? If not, can you tell us what it should be instead?
Yes, I think it is ideal for a u21 competition.Q : In the 1st edition of Nations Cup U21, it is allowed to include in the National teams lineup, for the Qualifying Phase, 1 manager who is not U21. Do you agree with this idea? Why?
I do not agree and this is related to the previous question. I think that if it is a u21 competition, it should be solely and exclusively for managers who meet the aforementioned requirements.Q : What is your opinion about the competition rules? What can be improved?
The rules are very good, they make this a fairer and more equitable competition, as I mentioned before I do not agree that a coach other than u21 should play, it is my only exception, I think it should be delete for the next edition.Q : After 2 rounds of qualifying, what is your opinion on the quality and format of the Tournament?
The format is very entertaining, in each of the rounds there was a spectacular level.Q : Your National team didn't make it to the Final. What failed? What are your plans for the future?
Honestly the rules of the competition took us by surprise. 90% of our managers did not meet the requirements, therefore we had to improvise with new managers and / or who did not have much idea of competitiveness. As a clarification, the regulations are very well planned, we as a national team will be better prepared for the next edition.Q : Do you think this competition fulfilled its main objective, to launch new generations of managers at the level of National teams? Why?
Yes, it met expectations and as proof of that is my selection. The regulation forced me to see new managers who perhaps had not been taken into account before. Nations Cup U21 opened the door to those new managers who had the illusion of representing their country in a World Cup.Thank you very much for the interview, I wish the finalists success.
Thank you Daniel! We're looking forward to host Colombia again in Nations Cup next editions! Best of luck for your National Team upcoming challenges!

Hello my friends,

Q : The basis of Nations Cup U21 is the concept of U21 Manager. Do you think the criteria is well defined? If not, can you tell us what it should be instead?
A : The basis of Nations Cup U21 is well defined. Because this event is a competition for young managers who have abilities that can be developed in the future.Q : In the 1st edition of Nations Cup U21, it is allowed to include in the National teams lineup, for the Qualifying Phase, 1 manager who is not U21. Do you agree with this idea? Why?
A : Yes I agree, in the qualifying phase there is a different "colour" in the national team lineup with 1 manager who is not U21, this condition will make the competition more competitive.Q : What is your opinion about the competition rules? What can be improved?
A : It's good enough. However, maybe need to review the criteria that can be categorized as U21, especially on the manager's experience variable.Q : After 2 rounds of qualifying, what is your opinion on the quality and format of the Tournament?
A : The quality and format so far is good.Q : Your National team didn't make it to the Final. What failed? What are your plans for the future?
A : Our Nations Team U21 still new and there is not enough experiences at the international level, I think this is very natural. However, we can learn a lot from here. Next we will maximize the quality of our Nations Team U21 by giving them many opportunities to learn tactics and improve their squad, sharing experiences with other senior managers, etc.Q : Do you think this competition fulfilled its main objective, to launch new generations of managers at the level of National teams? Why?
A : We can use this competition as a place to find and mature "new seeds" of managers in our national team, so at the senior level it will be better.Thank you Amirzan for this interesting interview. Unfortunately Indonesia did not manage to qualify for the Final of the Nations Cup U21, but we hope they will participate in the Nations Cup 2022! Until then we wish Indonesia good luck for the future! semoga sukses Indonesia
We close this edition of Blog of the Nations with emotions boiling over! We promise to come back tomorrow with more news and updates. Stay tuned and don't miss out!
