Germany I think will get out f the group now. That was a damn fine free kick in the closing seconds. Not sure they will get much further though.

Argentina I do not give much of a chance, not sure they have the same fighting spirit we saw from the Germans in the second half.

Rested most of our important players and still got the W. Feels good. 3 games, 3 wins. Denmark in 1st knockout round. Im feeling confident about that one. IDEMO HRVATSKA!!

I think quarters will be
Uruguay v France
Mexico (yes I think they could upset an underperforming Brazil) v Belgium
Spain v Croatia
Sweden v England

Some of those are wild guesses and hopes; the only certainty is Croatia I think.
Hardest to predict are Uruguay v Portugal and England v Columbia (quarter-finalists last time).

Taking into account all the errors being made by Referees (VAR) protecting some national teams, I don't think France will be able to beat Argentina.

Got to say that I love seeing all of you ahving faith in Croatia I really hope we can make next step and win this one. Would be important win for us as that would be first knockout win for Croatia on World Cup since that magical 1998. Let's go!!

As for my picks :

1. Portugal - I expect ugly match which will be decided by the GOAT from the free kick! Vamos Portugal! 1:0

2. Argentina - Im going for surprise here just because it would be epic to see clash of all clashes in Quarters. Messi vs CR. Just imagine the headlines 2:1 fo Argentina.

3. Brazil by 2 goals. I love Mexican team, they play passionate and beautiful football.. but simply Brasil is too strong I am afraid.

4. Belgium without much troubles in my eyes.

5. Spain. As much as I'd like to see Russia in 1/4finals I just dont see that happening.

6. CROATIA! Ajmooooo!

7. Sweden. I simply love the organization and structure in their game. They do not have single pure world class players yet they kicked out Netherlands, Italy, made troubles for France, and then on the World Cup they demolished Mexico and kicket out WC's Germany. I simply love them. I hope their run continues.

8. Colombia. If James plays. I would love to see England out because of that disgraceful last round where they lost on purpose to Belgium counting on the fact that this part of the draw is easier. I hope that will backfire and Colombia will show them that they made the wrong choice

@ruby2003 France are small favourites here for me as they have better structued team. BUt I agree, not a single on of them have showed anything great so far. But as I sad, Im going for Argentina as it would be epic to see Messi v Ronaldo h2h on World Cup.

I'm glad that France beat Argentina... tbh was expecting several errors from referees to help them go into next round, same way they did to help them qualify on group stage!
