Lionel Messi's sixth Ballon d'Or win on Monday night has seen Barcelona move ahead of Real Madrid, with the Catalans now having claimed more Golden Balls than any other club.
This is the 32-year-old Argentine's first (bal-lon door) Ballon d'Or since 2015 .
and it comes after 54 goals for his club and country in the 2018-19 season.
Liverpool defender Virgil van (Dyke) Dijk came second and Ronaldo was third.

Georgina Rodriguez, girlfriend of the famous Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, stepped forth to send a message of support to her boyfriend, calling him "brave" and "unstoppable", as his rival, Lionel Messi, went on to win his sixth Ballon d'Or award.

@uchenna-a you dont live in Serbia. Probably, this situation is in the whole world. Everyone say Ronaldo is better than Messi or Messi is better than Ronaldo. I dont lime Messi, Ronaldo, Real, Barcelona, Juventus... This is boring to read, listen... Boring. I can't upvote this and similar posts. I dont like this.
