@Sjinne_4_ever_NL I suppose we (ons aller ajax) can get far this year, If Bosz has the guts to play with Nouri-Dolberg-Cerny. Lets await the CL dropouts before predicting a winner.
-
@King-Noel 90% of the posts in the Dutch PL topic are making fun of United xD let's see which ridiciously overpriced players they are going to buy this winter in order to finish top 4.
-
@SIRclitjeslikker_NL Well, I just hope they don't buy anymore. I mean they bought one of Dortmund stars and he's just spending most of his time on the bench Better try and get this squad back on track, different line-up & tactics... they have some incredible players.
And about Ajax... well we just lack luck every year so I hope this year we will have some luck and get far in the tournament. We kind of need it as a nation
-
@SIRclitjeslikker_NL LOL, well they deserve it.

If you get eliminated five years in a row...is that a lack of luck or a lack of quality? I blame Frankie! Remember Boekarest away about four years ago. We beat them with 2-0 at home and de Boer chose the wrong tactic in the away game. A 3-0 loss if I remember correctly. Now with Peter Bosz and talents like Dolberg, Ziyech and Sanchez I am more confident that we can get far this year. At least we qualified ourselves for the knock-out already, that's a start!
-
It was a 2-0 loss and then a loss in the penalty shoot-out
Most ridiculous lack of mentality I have ever seen though. We overclassed them at home, and then everyone was talking in front of the cam like '' ah well, if we just score a goal there they have to make 4, no worries.''
-
Well, I was also referring to the CL in recent years (Zagreb, Madrid & Milan for instance). But in the EL they played some terrible games against opponents that could have been defeaten, true But mostly bad luck in my opinion as I remember that 40m shot goal from that defender of Steau...

I think AS Roma will win. They have the best squad anyway.
Then there is Man United, with the most expensive squad but still can't beat Feyenoord or Fenerbahçe.
-
We are Ajax we are the best :first_place:
-
My favourite is Shakhtar Donetsk...I hope they can win it. I like them and Donetsk not only becasue footbal, but also because politics, history and other stuff but that's not important right now...
Yes Man Utd played bad in first matches but it's obviously Mourinho realised it will be almost impossible to qualify for the CL next year via the PL so he will try to win the EL.
In 1st match away vs strong Feyenoord Man Utd played with a crap squad, and in the last match vs Zorya Ibrahimovic and other are playing 90 min. wtf?I also like Zenit.

@SIRclitjeslikker_NL I think that Ajax wouldn't beat Legia in round of 16 as year ago. They drawed with great Real 3-3 after fantastic match (they could even won), next was 8-4 with BVB - crazy match and the most important win with Sporting. Ajax isn't the same team as year ago when Milik was the best scorer. I believe that Legia hasn't said last word in Europa League
I'm also happy with draw for Manchester. They'll play with Saint-Etienne, with is average team and it'll be easy win for United, I guess. United is one of favourites to won UEL this year. I believe that they meke it happen
