Eurovision Song Contest 2017

Next week the 62th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest takes place. On tuesday and thursday we can watch the semi-finals, on saturday 26 countries try to win this years contest. Ukraine won last year and that's why they organise the event this year. 42 countries participate, 26 countries will reach to the final. Portugal and Romania will compete in this years contest again, they skipped in 2016. Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina don't participate.
Now some talk about my own country, the Netherlands. 'Our' O'G3NE will try to win this year with their song Lights and Shadows. They will compete in the second semi-final on thursday.
If we look at the bookmakers we can find out that Italy is the ultimate favorite. Since 18th of February they're on top of the ranking. This country will be represented by Francesco Gabbani with the song Occidentali's Karma.
At the moment Portugal is on place 2 and Bulgaria on 3rd place. The Netherlands are doing really well there, since they did some early practice they where rising and are now on place 13.
Who will watching this years Eurovision Song Contest? It's a little bit political, I think, because some countries give each other a lot of points, but it's still interessting to watch. I'm watching normally the semi-final in which the Netherlands participate and try to watch the final (with or without the Netherlands). Because I'm a radio-DJ I love to follow this event, hopefully our country can finish on a nice place inside top 10!

I never really watch the ESC. However the names of OG3N3's members are Lisa, Amy and Shelley and those names sound really familiar to me, if i'm not mistaken they also participated in the JESC years ago right?

I like their voices, but other things in this song aren't good, sorry. (But for sure The Netherlands will be higher than Montenegro)
Of course, Francesco is a favourite to win, but for me the winner is Kristian from Bulgaria.
I want to ask you about "Flashlight" Do you like this song?
And which song is the worst this year? For me, it's "Space" from Montenegro and "Do It For Your Lover" from Spain.Flashlight is a little bit boring for me. Some parts take to long. But I also think this all depends on how the artist will perform on stage. For me it's too straight, no really surprises in the song or something that looks 'difficult' for the one who's singing this song. But it's something that not looks like the other songs. I don't like all those 'euro dance' songs.

Eurosong was and still is very popular there,they applied to enter and were accepted.Australia has most ESC followers outside of Europe
