I suggest moving forward, please ensure the event run smoothly or simply postpone if not cancel the weekday event if it fails & GB/OSM is unable to resolve within the first 15 minutes.
What’s the point when the event should be 4 hour but can only run for slightly more than 2 hour? And this is just sabotaging the people who followed the initial timing which you have posted.
There needs to be a certain process set up to ensure that these weekday events run smoothly. This is not the first time that the events turned out as a failure because of the lack of checking and planning from GB/OSM end.
-
And again NO COMMUNICATION, at least within 2 hours after the event should have started!

@daankaars_nl

And the promotion is over, just 2 hours for those who tried around 21:00.

@koningco Are there any rewards from support for this lost event? Credit of Bosscoins??
We are still waiting for any respons from GB. No apoligies, someone probably fixed it around 21:00 and went offline just after that.
-
@koningco I'm playing another game hosted by Warner Bros. 24 hour support. Then I can write a ticket and they respond immediately. I guess that's not possible here? Too bad actually if you can also invest money here, but no one responds?
-
@dancing-toast No, here usually no response from the developers.

@dancing-toast OSM is the best game in the world just 1 or 2 improvements to be done

We're sorry for the late start on yesterday temporary event. There were some unpredicted technical issues.
We want to compensate you by increasing the duration of this weekend's Event.
-
@specialone You're so sorry that it took you over 16 hours to apologize....

Increase the duration with an hour, a day, a week? Give us details or say nothing, is it so hard to communicate clearly?

Hi @SpecialOne , I understand that there were some unforeseen technical issues which have caused the delay yesterday.
I would like to suggest if it is possible that in the occasion when such technical issues occur, communication can be better to the OSM players. For example, GB admin can at least inform us that they are looking into the issue, and the weekday event will still proceed as per planned after the issue has resolved. Or perhaps, when such events are launched, there could at least be someone from the technical support team to test run if everything is going well as per the events planned.
There was completely no news of yesterday late start at all, and OSM players were left hanging with the 'Super Staff' notifications showing up in OSM app (but not the case), not sure if the event would be completely cancelled or postponed to the next weekday, or if the events will continue as per usual.
The suggestions above will no doubt improve the game user experience.
As for tomorrow weekend's event duration increase, appreciate if you and your team can let the community know in advance how long the duration will be extended.
Thanks for listening to my suggestion for improvement if you do.
Peace out. -
This weekend's event: Extreme Training
Starts: May 27, 10am CEST | Ends: May 30, 11am CEST
NOTE: Event will take 2h longer than usual as a compensation for the problems with the temporary event of yesterdayExtreme Training weekend! During this weekend event, players get extra training progression and the training sessions will take less time.
-
@specialone If this is a 4 hour event then it makes no sense to extend it by 2 hours. Only managers who login before 6:59 AM CET will profit from the extra training opportunity. This "compensation" is another example that shows that GB staff have no idea how their game works for managers.

Decent people try to do something extra for someone else when they unintendetly disappoint this person to try to make things right. GB staff just give the person what he was initionally promised and call it a compensation.

@specialone terrible management of this situation. Do you realise that people wasted boss coins that weren't supposed to be used just to have players ready for their matches?
And your solution is to improve 2h (that we already were owed) on the next event? And for the ones that put the players on the training ground coudn't even benefit from the event because they were training for 8 hours! Can't you see that some players didn't even enjoy the even in the first place?
I demand a refund of my boss coins! I wasn't supposed to use it just because you guys messed up.
Own your mistakes and respect the community that plays your game and even pays for it. This isn't fair. Do something so everyone that spent boss coins can report it and find themselves in the situation we were in before your mistakes. We shoudn't pay for your mistakes. Period. -
