So there is no event today? I don't see any announcement or orange marking in the menu.
Anyway, if you still want to do an event: it's better to move it to tomorrow because most users have started their timers now is 8,5 hours before the match.

@specialone what about all the managers who did their stadium after 7 am of even after 8 am and don’t have the event?

@koningco I saw the announcement in-app, but there was no event online. If the event is online now, there will be a disadvantage for those who did their stadium after 7 am.
Hope GB will do anything about it and next time (yes I know it’s often like this) fix it!

@alyssagb OSM is really starting to get on my nerves. Still no transfer madness. The last weekend transfer madness was in the first weekend of July. First you didn't give Haaland in form boost now I come to see this nonsense weekend event

Starts: October 10, 07:00am CEST - Ends: October 10, 11:59pm CESTDuring this Event there are shorter timers for Training and Stadium! This means that it will take much less time to train players and to expand a part of your Stadium.
Expand your Stadium for advantages during a match at home, more progression during Training and more income from gate receipts.
Train your players and build the biggest Stadium out there!

@specialone I wonder if you have noticed that some events are less popular than other events. You can also see this in the upvotes and eventually downvotes on the forum (not everyone can downvote). The legends and friendly events did not receive as many upvotes as the stadium and training events. Is this something the GB staff is aware of? In essence it's most important that the users like the promotions, otherwise many won't use them. I how you pass this message on the GB staff members.

@koningco_nl Are you talking about OSM users or forum users?
OSM has a lot of different kind of users. Some like transfer events, some like trining events.... We try to please as much as possible and once in a while we also have to please minorities.
We've a much more effective process to measure how much users like the events... Number of users that actively take part on those events

@specialone but nobody likes paid events. And even less so if they work out for some and not for others, undermining competitiveness. Have you thought about putting a button to deactivate those events in the creation parameters of the leagues?
