@maxmorlock_nl I agree with you that its clear that some teams have an adventage with the engine.
In my league im only 10th out of the 12 teams looking at the worth of my team. I have no idea how some managers already have a worth that is double of mine. The thing i can see happening is people scouting every day and using up 45 coins each day to buy the scouted players and then sell them very expensive. I don't pay money for the coins so i can't do that. Its very clear that people who do, have a big advantage here in this sort of competition.Kan de moderator van onze competitie ook eens een tussenstandje posten?

@maxmorlock_nl "And that's exactly what makes the difference between 1st place and 12th place."
Sorry mate but I don't agree!First of all, squad building skills do help a lot, but tactics also have their (great) importance.
As an example, some teams have the same value than you but still are in top 6.Secondly, as I told you by PM, the amount of some players is FAR from being the only determining aspect of building skills...
For instance, when I had only 34 players sold, another (same) team had sold 57 players, but I got the same team value than him though (we both used the scout).
I gave you some few aspects to think about in future competitions or even days, hope it'll help! -

the second thing about this competition is that there are some of the best managers in it, who can build better then almost anybody in the world, therefor it is not a shame that they are better builders.
Just a short interim remark. Max and I play OSM very successfully in the world version. Max was recently in the top 50 in the world rankings and I was in the top 150. We do not have to hide from the best managers in the Dutch version and thank you for your advice.
The transfers are unfairly distributed, that's for sure. There are teams at OSM who are simply favored. You all know that very well. Unfortunately we got these teams.
So please do not be arrogant in the comments, we also know how the game works. -
Thanks @Harry Hirsch_NL for your clear words; also a thank you to @Gilles Brunelos_NL for the openness. I'm the same, I do not pay for coins, I do not have an app that I can use to earn coins, I just have the 4 coins a day the engine gives me. So I have to be very frugal , too and I can not afford 45 Coins a day. And if @ Dammy111_NL writes that his teambuilding is based on his good tactics and wins even with a low-value squad, that's nonsense! In a tournament with such good managers, you might win games with a low-value squad but not a tournament. Then please tell me why you have the second strongest squad with 194 million if you trust only in your good tactics. With such a squad of course you win against the team of Sangju Sangmu with 48 million. In a league of very good managers everybody can assume that everyone has a good tactic! Decisive is then only the high squad value. And everyone knows that! And everyone here, if he wants to get ahead in this tournament, has to invest a lot of coins, whether he likes it or not! I renounce it!
When Harry asked me if I would take part in this tournament with him, I said: A tournament without training camps with timers turned off sounds good. I thought, finally, a tournament where you can participate with fun. I used to enjoy leagues with crazy guys in this Dutch version of OSM before the time of 3.0, when there was still a leagues chat. The game still had a lot of charm and spirit. That was also the reason why I enjoyed playing beside the world version here with a lot of fun. After switching to 3.0, the focus is now to invest as many coins, and the charm and spirit were suddenly gone. So I totally agree with @Memphis United_NL when he says: Welcome to OSM; this is a completely different world than before 3.0! I wanted a tournament with cool and crazy managers, as I know from earlier times; is obviously just a wishful dream!
But nevertheless: I wish all participants a nice and successful tournament! -

Hi! Please tell me where I said that one could win a tournament only with great tactics..? ^^
I said that building + tactics have their importance. Not only building, not only tactics...
"First of all, squad building skills do help a lot, but tactics also have their (great) importance.
As an example, some teams have the same value than you but still are in top 6."
Moreover, I compared your team and your ranking not to mine but to other teams with the same squad value than you
Beside, I don't think that only in the second round we can say that everyone possesses excellent tactics. Maybe in the semi-final, or at least the final So I might be wrong but for me the difference is not yet being made ONLY with the squad. And, as I said earlier, squad building doesn't only consist in putting 4 players on the list and waiting that they get bought... There's a whole strategy behind; like putting X player to sale on X moment in the competition and other stuff..
I do agree that some have more luck than others with sales, that's for sure!
However, I think that a good manager can handle it in highs as in lows -

Let's talk about after the end of the saison, which taem with a lower squad value will reach the top 6; and plaese don't forget to make a screenshot of that team!

Up to my post I could only sell 26 players, at 15.00 still 2 more, that's right; I know that I make the most profit from the fact that I have been buying and selling players through my scout. Since five days I've been selling a few players worth 3-5 million, and I'm not getting that much money can trigger my scout.
The manager Dave Jansen, as much as I appreciate him, is not the benchmark for me:
But the manager of Gangwon, because he is the first:
He has made a total of 45 transfers, alone 8 of them worth between 17 million and 22 million and several transfers between 10-20 million.
And I sell a few players for minimum amounts within 5 days: And as I said, there were always 4 players on the transfer list:
And that's exactly what makes the difference between 1st place and 12th place. He has 45 transfers with 8 * 20 million sums and is first; I with 28 transfers of 5-10 million: I am last:
His current team value is 188 million, mine with 94 million exactly the half
It's such a simple game!Just noticed that up to that post, you actually had 6 players sold between 10 and 18,5M among the 28 transfers..^^
Anyway, as another proof, regarding the team values, you're now 8/12 and Dave Jansen is 7/12; but he's second!
And 8/12 is not that bad, you're not that far Come on ! You don't need to be first to qualify, your duo just has to finish in the Top 3 duos

And why do you hide behind your 194 million squad and do not play like the manager of Sangju Sangmu with 48 million who plays in your league? Either because you are not a good manager or because you know that what you wrote is nonsense! I beleave so, the latter is the reason!
-
@maxmorlock_nl Lol, maybe I'm bad, maybe I'm writing non-sense; who knows...^^
I'd say it's because of what I (already) said: not only building, not only tactics. Both have their importance, as the ability to handle a calendar, your players' morale & form, luck, good/bad series, and other stuff.. -

LFS-Cup / Round 2
Day 6/22
-
Ik doe het morgenochtend wel even voor groep 5.
-
Just a short evaluation of the facts this afternoon, matchday 6
Group 1: Average squad value 155.4 million
Group 2: Average squad value 148.9 million
Group 3: Average squad value 155.8 million Group with highest squad value !!
Group 4: Average squad value 133.0 million
Group 5: Average squad value 130.9 million
Group 6: Average squad value 145.0 million
:
Placement Pohand Steller: Average of all 6 groups 8.83
Placement Suwon Samsung: Average of all 6 groups 7.16
Sum of both teams: 16
Target: 7 and 3 = 10From the overview it is quite clear that both teams on the part of the engine have a deficit and probably can not reach the target
Over the years I've been watching this in all the leagues I've played (in the world version I've played all the countries before) and found out that there are teams in each league that have these engine deficiencies. It's not about the best manager and the best tactic.
In Germany we say: With these teams you can not win a flower pot.
I will do this evaluation again and see if the results in the ranking have changed to the advantage.
-
@harry-hirsch_nl It's interesting, but what do you say about the teams repartition then?
All the duo's that made the best score in the first round all received the same teams.
Your teams belong to the 5th/6 ranked duo's after the 1st round.
Could you make the same calculation with duo #6 (Pakket D) and duo #1 (Pakket F) in order to see if there's a link?
I'm sure you'll notice a correlation! -

Ff snel een tussenstand van Groep 4:
Braamsie + lsalvador = 2
Fc Roland Utd + Kevin Wybo = 4
Flougle92 + Sanderjep15 = 6
Gilles Brunelos + lapierre = 6,5
Furkantaktak + halimfener = 9,5
Rosenborg + rassrass = 11Geen idee of we nog met gemiddelde positie werken of met punten... Maar aangezien ieder duo samen 10 ds punten heeft geeft het een aardig beeld. En heb geen tijd om de hele sheet in te vullen
