Update
In order to build OSM Champions Cup how we want for our users we decided to split the work into playable peaces.
This means that users can play each part much sooner VS build and release OSM CC in one BIG BAM.
This way we can test the game modes, collect data and collet feedback more often for those playable parts at the same time that we are developing. We need all that data to work towards one goal. βCreate a awesome Champions Cup experience in OSMβ.The first chapter is OSM KnockOut.
In OSM KnockOut you compete against 16-32 teams.
Rules are very easy. You win you stay. You lose, you are OUT. Bye Bye, Ciao, TryAgain.
This KnockOut mode is a tournament with a very short duration of max 4 MatchDays.The good news
OSM KnockOut will be released very shortly as a event called βManagerKnockOutβ.The second Chapter is Groupstage.
Multiple groups in one league
We are not sure if this will be playable as a stand alone mode or that we will connect 1+2= Chapter 3.The Thirth Chapter is Groupstage + KnockOut (a.k.a. Tournament mode)
This mode will be called OSM Cup. In this mode you compete for the OSM Cup trophy.
Starting with 8 groups of 4 teams. Group A to H. Best teams go to the KnockOut fase. Playing by the OSM Rules.Final Chapter (End goal)
Final Part 1
Champions Cup - Pick one of the best 32 teams of last season and play OSM CC.
Playing by the official rules.Final Part 2
Multi Season Champions Cup - Bring your current star team to victory and get qualified for the Ultimate OSM CC experience. Compete against other star team OSM managers for Eternal Glory.So much to look forward to.

@william-van-velzen_nl This is a very good attempt. But you can maybe have knockouts over 2 legs when you release the tournament mode.
My only other criticism will be the use of training camps and secret trainings. With the current setup, you have 6 training camps available for 4 match days. So people can just training camp their way to the finals. Having a regulated number of TCs will make it more competitive. -

Thanks for the feedback! We'll try to make the tournament rules as realistic as possible, so that means 2e legs included. We've also noticed the problem with Training Camps and Secret Trainings. Reducing the Training Camps and Secret Training is already on our backlog. So thank you for confirming our assumptions
.OSM has always been competition based and was never build with the thought of tournaments. We'll have to rework the fundamentals of OSM to make this game mode possible, balanced and fun. We're hard at work to create a great experience, but we can't do it without you guys, the players. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and taken into consideration.

I finished the manager league yesterday and I noticed that a lot of managers quicksold their players that gave them an enormous advantage. Therefore, I would appreciate it if this option was deactivated.
Additionally, I would also include a limit of TCs and STs to 1 per tournament or even deactivate it completely. -
The league is a real challenge, thank goodness that on day 2 played against a friend.

Alright, time to give an update to you guys and girls. It's been a while, and we've been doing a lot of things for Tournaments
First to address the quoted messages, and to clear up the different modes we all talk about I'll explain a little bit about them.
We want to accomplish a few things for OSM:
οΈ Group Stage + Knockout (OSM Cup rules - no away matches)
Group Stage + Knockout (CL rules - with away matches)
Qualify for in normal Leagues by ending in the top 3/4/5So for
οΈ and we needed to build support for Group stages and Knockout stages. And if you've been noticing, we had two Leagues in the Beta tab for a while; Groups and Knockout We have been testing with them and received great feedback. We think they're now good enough to combine them into one Tournament so since yesterday we put the
οΈ Group Stage + Knockout in the Beta tab for you to try it out yourself!
It's called 'OSM Cup' and you play 6 matches in a group stage first. Number 1 and 2 in each group will then continue to the knockout fase. If you lose in a knockout game, you're out of the OSM Cup
and can try again 
Remember, it's still in beta and there's still a lot that needs to be done (balancing, drawing, home and away matches in knockout, theme, rewards, etc.). This also means that if you want to contribute to this feature NOW is the time to tell us your suggestions and give feedback. Please comment down below
with what you think of the new OSM Cup and what can be done to improve it. We already got suggestions for preparation days, number of Training Camps, etc. so thank you for that and keep them coming! -
Great idea, sounds amazing to be honest. I really hope that it will be implemented as soon as possible.
Regarding the no. of TCs, probably the best way is to make them available only for the KO phase, regarding the other features: I would say no transfers and 1 preparation day
And why not a prize of 50 BC for winning?
