can you provide an example? (when it happened, league number, ecc..)
there aren't market sessions during server simulations, maybe some other manager made a purchase?Its happening in my battle league that is currently in progress. Last transfer workers after the timer for the game ends and merely 10mins before match sim which is around 20:43.

@daniele-benjiamin
I think this is it, player Trippier. Transfer that happened while "Match in play" in my battle league: Evil Empire vs ClujNapoca Team
And this is not the 1st time, 2-3 times before this one.
Other managers also made complains about this, but no one responded.
Osm is like Ghost Town when we need answers.. -

Hello Daniele,I posted about these transfer workers around match time earlier. See this topic on the support part of the forum:
https://forum.onlinesoccermanager.com/topic/63025/transfer-workers-just-before-match?_=1625079975709And it happened again today at my team Rotherdam United.

I wouldn’t expect help on the workers before sim issue. Least one staff has replied and will try.
Abit of advice to help with it……….
-
If you have time count how many workers have happened (always 8 per day so you know if to expect one or not)
-
Don’t have players on the list in your starting line up if you can’t be around or have no good replacements. Just have your substitutes on the transfer list.
Not ideal but it will help with your starting line up.

@koningco yes, upon requests and suggestions from users, transfers rounds have been adjusted in a way that all rounds occur during daylight, so last rounds could be close to match simulations...so be careful to not line up players that are on transfer list, or to not set on transfer list players that you want to use in next match
-
-
@daniele-benjiamin Thanks for the reply. It's good that transfers now occur during daylight times. Will there be an official announcement or is this still a test.
About the workers during match simulation times, can this be changed. For example last worker at least one hour before match time or shortly after the match simulation?
I think many users want to keep their players on the transfer list in stead of removing them before the match and adding them again after the match. Especially because the impact on the match result is huge when you have only 10 players in your line-up (and 8 on the bench).

HISTORICAL TOURNAMENT: AFRICA 2008
Every month we give you the opportunity to play a temporarily available Tournament! This month: Africa 2008.In 2008 Egypt won the Africa Tournament for the 6th time by beating Cameroon 1-0 in the final, thanks to a winning goal by Aboutrika!
Will you manage to win the title with Samuel Eto'o's Cameroon? Or do you pick Michael Essien's Ghana or Yaya Touré's Ivory Coast?
Play the temporarily available Africa 2008 Tournament now and win the title!

@koningco This change on engines was on test until a few days ago, reason why we didn't answered to your question. Users would change their behaviour if they knew it and results of the test would have been influenced.
Due to the positive results it was implemented yesterday on ALL servers/leagues.
It's not doable to set restrictions before/after sims, because since we've sims at different times, it will be a complete mess and we'll have to slide transfer windows to late night again...
My advise is that when users log for the last time before sims, they remove all players that are on line up from TL and on first login after sims, set them on TL again

GB sometimes forgets that most users have 4 teams, it takes some to to remove and add players again every day. For me the old system was better, this new system is less user friendly!
@SpecialOne can you post more details here, like the minimum time between 2 workers and what the possible transfer times are now (like 7 AM - 11 PM CET)?
Other managers: please feel free to post your opinion about this game update and possible transfers just minutes before match time.
-
@koningco another great move from gb. Now if we want obtaist max impact from transfers, we have to maintain bigger squads. For me its not so bad, only a little more anxiety, but as far as I know, the mobile gaming market in for example Brazil is incredibly developed, and this puts them in an extremely disadvantageous conditions
but I won't be surprised if they remove the early servers too
sooner or later it will come to them that the ultimate optimization would be to abandon users in principle -
@wenger-wise Yeah, another brilliant move. I wonder how will competitions work now when league opener is in time zone that is very different to Europe. That will probably mean that European users in that league will have no chance to keep up with transfers...
Same thing will happen to South American users joining European league opener leagues...
From my point of view, the logic in all these GB moves is to simply kill all possible competitions and competitive leagues and mantain the game by having noob users that wont leave too soon because game is too hard. Simplification in order to try and keep new users as ling as possible. Sad, really sad.
-
@majstor-matt as i understood american users (USA, Brazil, Argentina...) will always have a weakness in that

Well this isn't good news for users living in Asia. Most users will be asleep and set their teams few hours early before the sim and check their result few hours after especially when they play in European and South american servers. Definitely a disadvantage. Sometimes I wonder why try to fix something which isn't broken when the old system of having fixed time simulations with the 2 hours gap was convenient.

@specialone
True, but If he plays a competitive league for some competition or crew battle then It wont help him. Thats what I was saying up there, and this is major problem for copmpetitive leagues in which players all around the world are playing, and server depends on the league opener's IP, right? -
@majstor-matt True.
But we'll get back to same old argument
How many users play OSM? How many play special competitions? Who shall we benefit?Battle leagues are set on random servers according with timezone of players taking part, so depending on luck you can be always the benefited one or not or have it balanced....
About competitions organised by users that include users from different timezones, you can discuss who'll create league based on it's timezone in a way that things are balanced!
-
@specialone
I know.. but Its just sad that every single change goes into same favour.. we old and competitive players rarely get any change that helps us. SO you can understand our frustration a bit -
@majstor-matt You know that I understand, but you also know that I try to be as fair as possible and you know that a lot of things have been made taking into account old and competitive players.
Of course that everyone will always ask for more and want everything the way they like, but unfortunately that's not possible.
A pretty good example is that you're loving the weekend ahead with this event and I'm pretty sure a lot are cursing me for it
