Apparently for ยฃ35m, a week after you say that they are not going to buy anyone decent -

This is the funniest thing I've read today from The Guardian ( no offense to Tottenham fans):
Josรฉ Mourinho wonโt be spending ยฃ40m on man nor beast. He is going to demonstrate his genius by winning the Premier League, the Champions League and the World Cup with a team comprising only B-list signings. Matt Doherty has joined from Wolves and next up is Bournemouthโs Joshua King, unless Newcastle get there first.
Antonio Conte is still meticulously building a Chelsea/Manchester United tribute team at Internazionale. He wants to raid his old club for Emerson Palmieri, Olivier Giroud and โ wouldnโt-we-all department โ NโGolo Kante.
The Conte part got me good

Manchester United have signed Donny van de Beek from Ajax for a fee rising to ยฃ39m and on a five-year deal.
The midfielder moves to Old Trafford for a fee of โฌ39m (ยฃ34.6m) - plus another โฌ5m (ยฃ4.4m) in add-ons - and has signed a contract until June 2025 after completing a medical in the Netherlands on Monday.
