Leeds are back in the premiership π
-
will u be buying Milner should be the most important question???
Also Congrats on Promotion.
-
@i-salute-liverpool-fc thank you, Iβd like Milner back. I remember him coming through our youth team and was a striker back as a 16/17 year old at the start. Think he would be a free transfer with his age. Bielsa will have a shortlist and already seen us linked with 3/4 players over the last few days
Congrats to Liverpool winning the EPL too
-
Congratulations on the promotion. Hopefully ownership won't make the same mistakes they did in the early 00's that led to their downfall.
Also the other 19 teams better build high walls and make sure the security team is on the lookout for anyone with binoculars around the training camp, haha.

@jeffro-davies Congrats mate! When I was a kid I remember that lots of great players played there and it was a really great team back then in 1990s It will surelly be nice to see them on top level once again after all this time
Oh and yeah, "El Loco" is genius!

Yeah I was a teenager or just turning 20 years of age when we 1st got relegated out the premiership. I hope we can keep Bielsa for many years

@jeffro-davies I doubt milner will come free now. Since he is still top player.
Also thanks yes finally got one in the bag -
@i-salute-liverpool-fc Iβm sure if Milner asked to leave for free Liverpool would let himDonβt think he would want to leave to face a relegation battle if heβs still getting games at Liverpool though. We should be looking elsewhere if they want a fee and he wants a lot of wages. I agree, heβs been a top player for years. One of the best recently thatβs came from our academy.

Do you see Leeds buying an entire new squad for the premier league or giving the championship guys a shot and only adding a few players that have played top division football?
-
@Michael9989 not a chance, even if we got bought this wouldnβt happen with FFP. 3 or 4 bargain players and hopefully that will be enough to keep us up. Bielsa is at the wheel, he could probably keep us up buying nobody
-
@jeffro-davies Congrats mate. I hope Leeds to stay where it belongs to be - in Premier League.
-
@jeffro-davies well after the Man City ruling FFP is a sham and possibly won't be around for that much longer.
But what you're saying for next season is to survive and not try and break into the elite and win the premier league title?
-
@Michael9989 exactly what Iβm saying, no way we can compete with the elite money wise for players or the title for a good few seasons. Staying up is priority and a relegation battle is more logical. Iβd be very surprised if we spent over 100m this season lol
-
@jeffro-davies Yeah, that is the smart thing to do, don't overspend your first year. Aston Villa bought a whole new team this year and they look like they be staying up.
The first season is the hardest, trying to stay up without spending too much money and trusting your guys who easily walked through the Championship to be able to hold up and against the likes of the Manchester's, Liverpool and London clubs. Also if any of your main guys play out of this world and have a wonderful season, trying to keep them next year before the vultures can get at them will be hard.
Good luck, I hope for the best for you guys next season but not against Leicester, haha.
-
@Michael9989 hope you make the champions league and Man U failgood luck keeping hold of Chillwell and Maddison next season too
-
@jeffro-davies At this point will take a miracle to get into the champions league....not even King Richard III can help us. The way I see it with Chillwell and Maddison is that they are very important players to Leicester and should stay, they have a guaranteed spot in that starting 11...but if they really want to go to the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, just like Maguire, Leicester should ask for 80 million plus and stick with that amount. Both are signed until 2024 and they are important to the squad and Leicester don't need to sell them. The amount may be way over inflated but these guys are important to us and we would have to spend a lot to replace them so it's only fair. I just hope they don't kick up a fuss like Mahrez and act professional.
-
They just signed Rodrigo from Valencia, start of a transfer frenzy?
-
@Theo-Rich be nice but very doubtful. Iβd be more than happy with 2 more 30m ish players for the 1st team.
-
Hey. I made a FPL league, OSM-related . The code is 58t8v3.
-
@jeffro-davies will bamford play and be able to perform. Who do u think will be Leeds best player
