Do you really know everything about football that you even know who will be the Champion of Euro2020 and Copa America 2021? And so good that even the Champion of UEFA Champions League in 2025 is already on your mind? Then this new rubric that NC presents is for you!

The score system of this mini game that will be held in this topic will be as follows:

• If the result and the number of goals are correct: 3 points

• If the result is correct, but not the number of goals: 1 point

• If you don't get the result right: 0 points

• If the result and the number of goals in the Joker Game are correct: 5 points

• If the result is correct, but not the number of goals in the ``Joker Game**: 2 points

Q - What do you think of the new format, in the qualification phase, of the Nations Cup U21?
I totally agree with this format and will welcome it. It is definitely a good opportunity to meet and compete with different players of different nationalities.

Q - After the Nations Cup 2021, we brought Nations Cup U21, what do you think about it?
I'm sure that this project will be as attractive as the previous one ‌ and everyone will enjoy it. It's also a great experience for those who do not have much experience yet and have been playing for about one or two years.

Q - If there were an entity, to regulate National team competitions, do you think it would be useful? Why?
It will definitely be useful ‌‌. National competitions are always attractive in any field. As in real football, the Euro and World Cup matches are important and attractive.

Q - If there were, a regional competition, like America Cup or Europe Cup, to qualify the finalists for the Nations Cup 2022, would you agree? Why?
Yes, I will welcome this idea and I will be happy to compete for the championship on continent. There are countries in Asia like India and some Arab countries and we will definitely experience a high level of competition.

Yesterday we launched, a new challenge for the community : Kick the Result! And we are pleased to see the community participating in this initiative. Keep participating and remember that this first round will end on 16/06, and we will launch the second round on that day!

And today, we have the pleasure, to present our guest, which will monitor the development of the competition, and of the National teams that will participate in it, bringing statistics and curiosities about the teams. Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome our specialist : Beats Bytes!!

NC : Welcome Beats Bytes! And thank you for accepting our challenge, to get out of your comfortable digital zone, to be here with us in the coming months!
BB : I'm the one who appreciates this opportunity, created by the NC staff, to do something different from my registration, and I hope for an interesting competition, and a success for the future, of this type of tournament.
NC : Speaking of competition, how do you analyze the candidates in this first edition?
BB : Being completely honest, we will have a very significant global representation at this tournament, from the 24 National teams, 9 are from Europe the largest representation, 6 are from South America the second largest representation, 4 are from Asia and from Africa there will also be 4 National teams, and then we'll have the debut of Oceania in these wanderings with Australia!
NC : Yes but who would you single out to go to the Final?
BB : I would say that there are some powers, in this type of competition, already with some experience, such as: Spain, Brazil, Argentina and Portugal, and others also with a lot of potential, such as: Peru, France, Colombia and Italy, and then a group of outsiders, who will take advantage of this opportunity, such as: India, Morocco, Indonesia and Egypt, and finally we will have 3 debuts in relation to the Nations Cup 2021: Nigeria, Kenya and Australia!
NC : And about the purpose of this competition, what is your opinion?
BB : It was something, which was already lacking, in the panorama of National Team competitions, and which was discontinued a few years ago, but which is extremely important for the revitalization of National Teams, and which became logical after the appearance of the Nations Cup 2021.
NC : So let's go to the last question! What about the format of the competition, do you think it will be welcomed?
BB : I think it was a bold initiative of the organization, opting for this format, which puts National teams face to face, although different from other times, but brings a little of that perfume, I think it will be a success, and perhaps dictate a future trend in this kind of tournaments!
NC : Once again, thank you for accepting our invitation to be our official commentator for the Nations Cup U21, and we are looking forward to your first chronicle!

A : It looks quite attractive, I think that this change that there are more rounds gives more opportunities for several members of the teams to play, in addition to that they must demonstrate perseverance to go to the final phase.
Q : After the Nations Cup 2021, we brought the Nations Cup U21, what do you think?
A : It is a wonderful idea! Starting with a U21 national team competition promotes the growth of the senior teams, as well as giving experience to those managers who have not yet been accounted for by the senior team. That there are 24 selections I consider an accessible number, in the future it is likely that it will increase when seeing that this initiative is had. Congratulations!
Q : If there were an entity to regulate national team competitions, do you think it would be useful? Why?
A : Yes, it would be quite useful. I give you the example of the Hispanic community. There the Staff is the one in charge of regulating the national teams. They choose the selector among the candidates who apply, they have rules that must be met by the members of the selection and the DT. The Staff assigns them a supervisor, this is the one who must ensure that everything is done correctly, the DT must send a monthly list of members of the senior team and the sub21, the Staff with its tools verifies that they are not multi-accounts and also that they are the corresponding nationality; In case the staff has doubts about the nationality, the respective documentation is requested from the member.
Q : If there was a regional competition, such as America's Cup or Europe's Cup, to qualify for the finalists of the Nations Cup 2022, would you agree? Why?
A : Yes, I think I could give places to those who have performed well in those tournaments. Currently in the Hispanic community there is the Tournament of Hispanic Nations (TNH) that has supplanted the Copa America that was played in the format of classic battles (before being suspended). I think that an agreement could be reached with those who organize the TNH for this.

Yesterday we shared with you, a new way to share Penalties Complaints with NC Staff, that is much more easier to process. It's a form, where you can choose the league where the infraction toke place, identify the Manager and the National Team. Also, you can choose which penalty was committed, and upload print screens (those are mandatory). We'll keep processing the complaints made to our email also, but we ask all National Team Coaches to use this new form from now on. Thank you all!

Now let's move on to what everyone is waiting for : the ranking of the Groups EF! After 7 rounds, this is how the standings are.

Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 (860 points) vs Uruguay U21 (830 points)

Australia U21 (182 points) vs Spain U21 (901 points)

The clash between Bosnia and Herzgovina against Uruguay is being very disputed, and the balance has been constant. And it will be very difficult to predict who will win this match!
Spain, with its experience accumulated over years of competition at the highest level, has proved to be an asset, compared to the newcomer Australia. It will be very complicated for the Aussies to turn this battle against La Roja!

Hungary U21 (1028 points) vs Kenya U21 (36 points)

Nigeria U21 (434 points) vs Peru U21 (794 points)

Hungary continues its quiet walk in the battle against Kenya, showing that their capital of experience gives them a very comfortable advantage. Yet Kenya has shown a very interesting competitive attitude, which could in the future become a harder National team to beat.
Peru maintains a 360-point advantage over Nigeria, and has shown a regularity that keeps the battle under control. Of the debuting National teams, Nigeria has shown maturity, above their debutant counterparts, and will certainly fight to the end, for qualification!

Q : What do you think about the new format, in the qualification phase, of the U21 Nations Cup?
A : My opinion on the form of qualifying for the u21 finals, I think that the format of the competition is very well organized.

Q : After the 2021 Nations Cup, we brought the U21 Nations Cup, what do you think about that?
A : National Cup U21 a very good form of national team games for managers who do not have the opportunity to appear in the adult representation, although I think that playing in u21 is a simple way to the adult representation.

Q : If there was an entity that would regulate national team competitions, do you think that would be useful? Why?
A : I think that the entity that would deal with the national team matches is a very good idea. Why? People who would deal with the regulation of the tournaments would have much more time to organize the tournaments with the organizers, they would be able to better control the representation and whether the authorized persons play in them and would relieve the organizer to what extent.

Q : If there was a regional competition, such as the American Cup or the European Cup, that would qualify the finalists for the 2022 Nations Cup, would you agree? Why?
A : In my opinion, qualifying for the National Cup should be divided into Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania as it is in Normal Qualifiers for the World Cup and the best national team from a given continent should play in the final.

We would like to thank everyone for their collaboration, so that the leagues were created with a minimum of incidents. We appreciate everyone's understanding, as it is never easy to start a new phase with penalties.

Q : What do you think of the Tournament?
A : A league organized for national teams is always great, i am grateful to be able to participate and to be a member of the national team. I especially like the forum posts, interviews, and awards.

Q : Do you have any suggestion to improve it?
A : For smaller countries like Hungary, with fewer managers it is really difficult to gather national team-level "career starters". The expected maximum number of played matches could be slightly higher. In addition, the total number of matches could be maximized, i find the counting per slots meaningless.

Q : Were you expecting to represent your National team? What's the feeling?
A : As there are a lot of restriction on who could play, i was expecting it. The possibilities are limited in our small country. In any case, i am proud to be a national team member.

Q : What can you tell about your OSM career?
A : Maybe I ve been in the best shape for the past year, I ve learned a lot from my crew teammates in Buda Fckn Pest, we have gained a lot of experience in battles against top rated opponents. Howewer, due to the excessive use of bosscoins in battles, I was already thinking that it might be time to stop the game after 9 years.

Q : If you win this award what does it mean to you?
A : It is always a pleasure to be first in something, but I would rather exchange all of my awards for the outstanding success of the Hungarian national team in this cup.

Q : Can you unveil your secret to success?

Here we are again, for another edition of Blog of the Nations!

Today we'll launch the 3rd Round already, opening the Lineups Submission form, and presenting the Calendar!

So, for the Nations Cup U21 3rd Round, here is the plan:

Starting Today until 23:59 CET of 23/07 lineup registration phase;

From 00:00 CET of 24/07 until 23:59 CET of 25/07 lineups verification and certification;

On 24/07 Information on Leagues Creation time, definition of the League to play and list of all leagues compositions, with identification of PM's;

On 25/07 Walkthrough to league creation;

On 26/07 Beginning of the 3rd round.

These times and dates may change as a result of an unforeseen event.

You can make the lineup registration, for the 3rd Round here.

NOTE:

Some National coaches have had doubts about the rotation of lineups. Unlike Nations Cup 2021, in which the rotation of 2 managers between rounds was mandatory, in Nations Cup U21, this rotation is not mandatory. The decision to use different managers between rounds is entirely up to the National coaches. They must, however, respect the competition regulations, with regard to the composition of the lineup, that is, they will have to use 3 U21 managers and only 1 non U21 manager, and can only replace 1 U21 manager by another U21 manager in case of need.

Italy U21 is gradually shortening the difference (now only 98 points) towards India U21, making this battle the center of attentions in the next days! In the other clash of this Group A, Brazil U21 is holding the lead against Iran U21 (384 points difference), but nothing is settled for now! Everything can change in the next fixtures!

GROUP B

Indonesia U21 882 Venezuela U21 578

Morocco U21 760 Poland U21 773

Venezuela U21 is struggling to make a come back in the Battle against Indonesia U21, having reduced the difference (304 points, now). But Indonesia U21 seems to have thins under control so far. In the other Battle, Morocco U21 is just 13 points away from Poland U21, after being behind for most part of the 1st half of the 2nd Round. Will we have a table turn here? Let's away and see!

Today i'll get back on the Individual Awards, updating the standings. Let's see who is shinning in this 2n Round!

Most Valuable Player Award

@Diogo-o-manager-2 (Portugal U21 ) is the best performing manager in this area, with a score of 404 points (34% of the Team total score, 1192). With a G7 team, he's currently in the 1st place in League 2CD! Well done!

Goal Frenzy Award

@Alfonso75 (Spain U21 ) is on the lead, with a total of 20 scored goals in League 4EF! It's an average of 2,5 goals per game! Amazing!

The Wall Award

Finally, we have just one manager in the lead in this award! @NimiiS (Hungary U21 ) has the best defense in all 2nd Round Leagues, with just 1 conceded goal after 8 fixtures (League 1EF) . This is pure The Wall stuff! No goals shall pass!

Extreme Evolution Award

@Daxidoo (Poland U21 )is the new Master of the Squad Building, with 226 M Squad Evolution! But the competition in this area is fierce, so I won't be surprised if in the next days another managers climb in!

I wont be surprised to see these mates in the best crews in the world soon. For U21 players, they're performing like veteran OSM managers already! Keep it up lads!

Today we bring you the testimonial of another Round 1 League Winner! Please welcome @Ance08 (Bosnia and Herzegovina ) winner of League 1EF in Round 1.

Q : What do you think of the OSM U21 national teams? Are they useful in helping newcomer OSM managers prove their worth and get a chance to reach their country's Senior National Team eventually?
OSM U21 competition I think helps young and new managers to continue to play and achieve better results and thus maybe achieve a call for a senior team.

Q : What is your opinion on the format of the Nations Cup U21?
I think it is quite good and regular and that you can prove that you are a good manager in a strong competition.

Q : What is the feeling of having the responsibility to represent your national team at OSM?
It is always a pleasure to represent my country.

Q : What are your personal ambitions in this Tournament?
In this tournament, my ambition is to win as many points as possible for my national team, of course that means winning the lens I was given.

Q : Who were your biggest rivals in Round 1? And what were the most difficult games you had in the league?
I can't remember the name of the manager but he did very well in the first 3 rounds and had the most expensive team so far.
And the 4 round game that I started badly and got a red card at the beginning of the game that ended 0: 0 and I could be satisfied with the result but it was the hardest game for me

Q : What team, besides the one you represent, do you think will win the Nations Cup U21?
Bosnia and Herzegovina, at least I would like that to happen, but I think that Spain has a lot of chances after us.

The 2nd qualifying round for the Final ended yesterday after 14 fantastic games. And setting aside all the emotions we already have some definitions in some groups. Let´s check it out.

Group A

India U21 907 Italy U21 810

Brazil U21 718 Iran U21 175

India managed to win this difficult battle against Italy, and thus re-entered the accounts of qualifying for the Final. In a very heated dispute, the Tigers managed to keep a cool head and win this clash by 97 points! Now we will have a 3rd round in which it will be decided which of these 2 nations will make it to the Final!
Brazil is a small step away from being the 1st National team of this group to confirm its presence in the Final, after beating Iran by 543 points of difference. Unfortunately, after this 2nd defeat, Iran ended up staying out of the Final, disputing the 3rd round against India to "fulfill" the schedule. Brazil will have a 3rd round against Italy in which it can confirm itself as champion of Group A in case of victory, or in case of defeat, it could even be out of the Final, if India defeats Iran!

Group B

Indonesia U21 819 Venezuela U21 1057

Morocco U21 839 Poland U21 920

Indonesia, which controlled much of the battle against Venezuela, "let itself" be surprised and ended up losing by a difference of 238 points! So they'll compete in the 3rd round against Poland knowing that they won't make that dream come true even if they win the battle. Thanks to this victory Venezuela has a new opportunity to qualify for the Final in case of victory against Morocco.
Morocco was always trying to recover the difference against Poland, ending up losing this battle by just 81 points. So they will be "forced" to win the final battle against Venezuela, which will be a decisive confrontation for both, to reach the Final. With this victory, Poland has already guaranteed its presence in the Final, even if it loses the 3rd round against the already eliminated Indonesia, and in case of victory it can still achieve the title of champions in Group B with 9 points.

Group C

U.A.E. U21 1112 Argentina U21 619

Egypt U21 1024 Ukraine U21 418

The U.A.E. after beating Argentina by a margin of 493 points, they once again had a chance of qualifying for the Final. Playing the last round against the already eliminated Ukraine, and in case of victory they can even dispute the group title! Argentina, with this defeat, was in an uncomfortable position, as to get the much desired place in the Final, they will have to beat the current leader of the group, Egypt in the 3rd round.
Egypt confirmed its superiority in this battle against Ukraine, with an advantage of 606 points! So they are in a similar situation to Brazil, in other words, they can be group champions, if they beat Argentina in the 3rd round, or they can stay out of the Final, if they lose and the U.A.E. beat Ukraine. The Ukrainians, after the 2nd consecutive defeat, were definitively excluded from the Final, even if they win in the final round.

Group D

Portugal U21 1554 Azerbaijan U21 694

France U21 642 Colombia U21 286

Portugal was imperial in the battle against Azerbaijan, finishing with a difference of 860 points! They are group leaders, and will compete in the 3rd round against Colombia, and in case of victory, they confirm the title of champions, because qualification for the Final has already been reached. Azerbaijan will have a confrontation against France, in the 3rd round that will be decisive for the 2 nations, whoever wins will qualify for the Final.
Colombia mortgaged their chances of reaching the Final after losing the battle against France by a difference of 356 points. So the game against Portugal in the last round will be a mere "formality" even if they get the victory. France, after this victory, will have an authentic "final" against Azerbaijan, where only one of these National teams can aspire to reach the Final of the Nations Cup U21.

Group E

Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 304 Australia U21 654

Uruguay U21 1120 Spain U21 1301

What an epic battle! Spain had to "pull their wits" to win Uruguay! There was uncertainty until almost the end of the round, but the Spaniards ended up winning by 181 points. With this victory, Spain has practically guaranteed qualification since they beat Bosnia and Herzgovina in the last round, becoming champion of the group with 9 points. Uruguay, who still doesn't add points in this group, needs a real "miracle" to reach the Final, as they need to beat Australia in the 3rd round and Spain beat Bosnia.
Australia was the "surprise" of the 2nd round by defeating Bosnia and Herzgovina by 350 points. And with this victory, they have possibilities to extend their "debut" in the Nations Cup U21, having to beat Uruguay in the 3rd round to guarantee a place in the Final, as long as Bosnia doesn't beat Spain. Bosnia were one of the favorites in the group, and they are "almost" eliminated with this defeat against the Australians. Now they will have the thorny mission of defeating Spain, current leader of the group, and hope that the Australians do not beat the Uruguayans, in order to qualify for the Final.

Group F

Nigeria U21 844 Hungary U21 1188

Peru U21 976 Kenya U21 -41

Hungary confirmed the victory against Nigeria with a lead of 344 points and guaranteed their presence in the Final. The last round against Peru, will be a kind of "Champions League Final" to decide who will be the champion of Group F. Nigeria despite having engaged in this battle, ended up defeated for the 2nd time in the tournament, playing the last round against Kenya for African pride in case of victory.
Peru also confirmed its presence in the Final, beating Kenya by 1017 points. In the last round, they will define against Hungary, who will be the champion of this group. Kenya remains in the last round against Nigeria, to guarantee the victory that will be symbolic, as with this defeat, they are away from the Final.

Tomorrow we will publish the statistics of the best National teams in different parameters. We will also bring the best managers in the individual awards for the 2nd round and the set of 2 rounds played with the presentation of Beats Bytes!

Yesterday we published the final results of all battles of all groups in Round 2 and also the ranking of all groups after 2 rounds. Today we will reveal some interesting Round 2 stats that will identify the best National teams in different categories.

In the 2nd round, we changed the criteria of the categories from Top 3 to Top 5, in order to be fairer in analyzing the performances of the best National teams. Hungary, Spain and Portugal are the National teams that stand out in almost all of top of performances categories.

Today in the Blog of the Nations we close the cycle of interviews with the Round 1 league winners. He won League 2EF and was also featured in the Goal Frenzy individual award. Coming from Hungary please welcome @Egorazzyka

Q : What do you think about OSM U21 National Teams? Are they useful to help newcomer OSM managers prove their worth, and have an opportunity to reach their Country's Senior National Team, eventually?
A : As I mentioned in the previous interview, basically this is a good opportunity for the new players to prove their skills, but for countries as small as Hungary, it is very difficult to build a hard-hitting team under the U21 rules. We have very few quality new players, who take the game seriously. If the rules won't change in the future, maybe we won't be able to register enough players who meet the requirements.

Q : What is your opinion about Nations Cup U21 format?
A : I find it all right in this form, I would only change the expected played match number in rules. More players could get a chance if a higher number of played matches were accepted by rules.

Q : What is the feeling of carrying the responsibility to represent your National Team in OSM?
A : It's exciting. I feel very important to bring home good results, the national team matches are much more exciting than the others.

Q : What are your personal ambitions in this Tournament?
A : Since according to the rules I can't play in the final, so I wanted to get good results in the qualifier rounds, which I did. Hereinafter I will try to help our teammates.

Q : Who were your biggest rivals in Round 1? And what were the most difficult games you had in the league?
A : Honestly, I quickly took the lead and didn’t really feel in danger in the first place. In the second half of the league I tried to get the most goals scored and tried to choose tactics accordingly, this was the most difficult.

Q : Which National Team, besides the one you represent, do you think will win Nations Cup U21?
A : I can’t really answer that, there are a lot of unknown managers for me. I don’t know what forces they represent. We'll see...
