What a quarter finals we had!
The one more exciting then the other.
Croatia looked defeated , but thanks to a late equalizer and heroic preformance from Livakovic they won the penalty's! I wonder where Livakovic will transfer to after the WC, Ajax, Man United, Bayern Munich?
Argentina was thinking they where allready in the next round untill van Gaal let Weghorst play, and he scored 2 goals. It was such a thrill to watch, but i also did'nt expect we would win the penalty shoot out. And we did'nt unfourtunatly.
Most thing i was shocked about was the way the Argetinian players react, i lost a lot of sympathy for Messi.With Argentina to the next round, i allready could smell the final between Portugal and Argentina, but then Morocco defeated another world class country! The 1-0 was a header with a magnificant jump! Nobody in the world would tought that Morocco could make it to the semi's. From all the countries they had the hardest schedule with Belgium, Croatie, Spain & Portugal!
France - England was in my opinion the best game to watch. Lovely attackting football. I could'nt understand that Kane took the second penalty as well. It's an unwritten rule to never take 2 penaltys in 1 match.

@Majstor-Matt Don't be sad, Croatia made some defensive mistakes and let Alvarez score a solo goal, Croatia was not expected to go that far and they were the underdogs accompanied by Morrocco in this World Cup. Croatia made history and Maestro Modric will stay in our hearts!
Hopefully Argentina will lose the final.Third place for Croatia

Morocco surpised me yesterday to be honest.
It is that France scored an important early goal, else it would be a different match.
Morocco had some good upportunity's for the equalizer.But still a beautiful final on paper. Argentina-France, Messi-Mbappe.
Even for Africa it's good because France is more an African United team.In the final i'll hope Argentina would win but i think that France will become the best off the world again.
The match for the 3d place i'm hoping that Morocco will become 3d. They deserve it after all those hard matches.My bets are :

What a terrible referee. Its a shame they delegate such bad referees for such big games. Penakty on Gvardiol couldve been seen from a plane, yet referee waves hands and VAR is silent. And yet, Morroco players constantly complain even though whole game was letting aggressive style without cards.
But okay, most important thing is that the team that deserved to win, won! Bravo HRVATSKA!!

@Majstor-Matt The World Cup is finally over, and Pessi won a World Cup at the end. France's star Mbappe is so unlucky after doing all this effort but losing in the end. The first penalty seems not to be a penalty as it was Di Maria who put his foot between Dembele's legs and stumbled on his own leg and went down. VAR should have intervene in this action as I personally think it's not penalty. Maybe there was a little contact but it was not volunteer and it was not enough for Di Maria to dive. France was bad in the first half but was better in the second half. I knew that at one time Argentina's defense would crack just like VS Netherland. I have nothing to say apart from what a final and what a performance by Mbappe. The ballon d'or is for you this time Mbappe but some will argue that Messi should be the winner of the ballon D'or next year.
To be honest I didn't want Pessi to win

Lovely final, all that action!
Argentina dominated for 78min. France could'nt make a fist untill the penalty for the 2-1. It was like drugs to them, they finally start playing football after that.
- Cheap penalty for Argentina (1-0)
- Mbappe was the star of the final
- Argentina deserved winners of the World Cup.
