Music is a Universal love ...has no boundaries !
Haris Alexiou is one of the greatest voices of Greece. A wonderful woman and artist of her kind . :bow_tone1:
-
Now something else . Duran Duran was one of my fave bands years back in my teenage years , haha. And my goodness I had such a crush for Simon Le Bon !
Here's few of their hits from back then.And this coming from my fave James Bond movie
But today I've found another great example that proves that oldies are indeed goldies and priceless :heart_exclamation: Levi ... This one for you and your fans @Levi-Rios
-
@SUPERNOVA-8 haha, very good!

I don't like One Direction... But this song reminds me of a person who was very important to me! She loved this band, and I listened to One Direction's songs with her, not because I liked the songs, but to make her smile And "Little Things" was her favorite song at this time
See why I like you so much Chico? ... cause of your pure heart of gold buddy and that post was sooo sweet.

@SUPERNOVA-8 Thanks Sofie! Toลกe indeed was a brilliant vocal and phenomenal singer. It was a big loss when he died in car accident so young...

Currently listening to :flag_am: #Eurosong2017
Btw I'm a huge fan of esc Anyone else? -
@JEBENONADRKAN I totally love ESC
My grades and rankings are ready
Sadly this year there are many songs I donยดt like and just a couple I like...
Also the song of Armenia I donยดt like this year. I prefer the song of 2016, it was so powerful!Something special this year from Belgium, but I like this one:
And I'm curious looking forward to the live version of the Netherlands:
-
@Marinus99
France, Albania and Belgium have the best songs this year,top 3. -
@Alexander6666
France is ok, but to be honest, I hate the song of albania, its place 40 in my personal ranking
My top 3 is Italy, Czech Republic & Belgium. -
@Marinus99
Oh, yeees, mate, Czech republic rocks. Italy's song is really original, it's also in my top 10. Ukraine this year introduxes a rock song, finally something like this after Lordi and Manga , hah. It will be a really interesting entry. -
@Alexander6666 Im glad there even is a rock song. But unfortunately the refrain of this song is so annoying. With a better refrain it would be a pretty good song, but with this refrain for me itยดs just a place in the middle...
I also liked Cyprusยด last year with their rock song.
And iam so glad we germans sent at least a song which is not that bad. I dont like it that much, but our songs of the last 4 years were all really bad ^^ -
@Marinus99
On betting sites Italy is the 1st favourite by far,2nd is Sweden,3rd is Bulgaria..But that doesn't need to mean much because last year Russia was the favourite and still Ukraine won and I was actually cheering for Ukraine and was expecting their win altough they weren't favourites.But this year I think Italy is winning and defending 1st place for sure,it isn't my favourite song but song has cool choreography with gorilla,happy atmosphere,great rythm ..everything
I cheer for :flag_am: & :flag_bg:
-
Tbh I haven't listened to all of the ESC songs yet ... but I think Greece is sending a decent one this year .
I just wish we could have each country singing in their mother language and not in English.But anyways ... This is Love
And this is Cyprus's song . Strong one I believe - Gravity
-
Ok , just listened to Italy's song too and I'm so happy ! Native language and one fine happy song . Great voice , great tune ... hate the ape though. Brava Italia ! Bravo Francesco !
And OMG ! Just listened to Bulgaria's song and I got chills all over me. Well, that's defo my kind of music . Way to go Kristian Kostov :heart_exclamation:
And last one for tonight... Hungary's song made me very happy again. Bravo to Origo by Joci Pรกpai !
I loved it too , even though I wasn't able to understand the lyrics .That's what I loved about old Eurovision and I hope this year the winner to be a great song shared in native language. :fingers_crossed_tone2:
But I must say 2017 at least has come up with plenty of beautiful songs that I am positive they will become this year's summer dancing hits .
-
I am honest: I don't like the bulgarian song this year, it's too slow, I expect to see more dynamic songs, full of energy
This is the queen this year. I support for first time in the last 8 entries France.
What a great song from Tatyana, but unfortunately not in the final.
That willl be a great year with many wonderfull songs.
-
@SUPERNOVA-8 Greece sadly is nothing special this year, one under ten similar...
I miss something like this from greece ^^ That was so genius!
I also like cyprus, it is my 4th place till now. But I first want to hear the live-version.
In the past often I really liked the studio versions of songs and the live versions were very disappointing...
Like this one:But I totally agree with you in the point with native language. That would be so much better!
-
@Alexander6666 Indeed most of their entries were not that good in the past years, but not all.
I liked Amir with J'ai cherchรฉ last year. And also the following one (2013): -
