Boiler Room is the principle of a DJ set being given in a small place with a small amount of people and it's streamed on the internet.
Big Room is an EDM genre which sounds "big", Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are for example artists that mainly produce Big Room. Here are some nice channels where you can discover some more of it

yes but I think there are still fairly hard sets, it's just that now the possibilities are bigger so people bring more variation to their sets. Here's an epic set by my hero KSHMR
