It would be a training league, a league where all the resources are available, cup, etc.
With this league created just for these battles, there is no more favor for anyone, it is just a training league with no coach points, the rules would be respected because there is no advantage or loss for any coach

As was said several times over the past years, to lose on purpose is something that goes against all fair play, and the OSM Terms. This was the reason why we implemented Battles created with a specific schedule to avoid playing against your crew mates.
The implementation turned out to be much more complex than originally thought. That is why other options, like picking your league or playing friendlies were left out for a later date.
Since then we've been trying to find a workable solution that will make the battles more interesting for our old school/hardcore users in a tournament format. Unfortunately thus far we have been unable to come up with a solution that fits. Other solutions we have discussed turned out to require too much time or are too complex to implement (point 3).
Recently we have been looking at different options (point 2). We're evaluating the community requests and how we could implement them without hurting fair play for ALL users and/or the OSM Terms.
This is still in a very early stage and we are still not entirely sure it's possible, so for now we prefer to keep the specifics private. Of course as soon as we have something tangible to share we will! Until then we ask for your patience.

After quite some time, since the annoucement of the end of the classic/forum battles, finally we have good news related to this issue. At least, we can assume, that you´ve been working on a solution, and the matter is definitely not closed. I think, that for the community, reversing the changes in app battles ( point 1 ) is a positive signal, and will allow balance and competitiveness among all. Regarding point 2, there will certainly be many applicable ideas that allow, the continuity of the classic/forum battles, maintaining respect for fair play and OSM terms. It was important that the dialogue between the GB and the community was resumed, and that common sense will be imperative for a future solution.

@Ado-Hackovic I think it only appears for those who have not been in battle for some time.

It looks like it's hard for some users to understand what's the intention of these surveys.
Surveys are targeted to a specific group of users, so we can understand what can be made to improve OSM in a way that this specific group of users change the way they play.
Actual survey is to find out why users that are in a crew doesn't play battles. So if you share the link to survey for others, it won't serve the purpose and results will be ignored!
I deleted previous link and no punishment was given. If you chose to insist, then harsher measures will be taken!

Thanks for all the input, we got 700+ reactions from a survey that was shared only in the community! We're especially proud of that number since it's representative for so many hardcore managers.
About the results.- A large majority would like Training Camps to be disabled in Battles (which they already are).
- A small majority would like Secret Trainings to be disabled in Battles.
- A large majority would like instantly finishing timers to be disabled in Battles.
- A majority would like compensating Club Funds to be disabled in Battles (which it already is).
- A majority is satisfied with the current leagues that Battles are played in.
- Everyone is equally divided on the frequency of changing the Battle settings.
A loud, clear and understandable message from the pro's. A tactical and equal Battle is what you all want. So that's what we're going to do. The next Battle update will be with all Boss Coin settings off! Besides that we will keep the current league rotation system, with big leagues and small leagues.
You can expect this update on August 11. We'll keep updating the settings roughly every 4 months in the future.

Why I feel this is too late?
Many managers have quit this game and many crews have one or two battles active because many managers are bored with battles. Nothing has changed for good in this 3/4 years and this game has become very boring.
