This issue has been placed on the backlog, so we have to wait until they fix it. I don't expect it to get fixed any time soon, though.

This issue has now been fixed.

For those that have completed World Domination, but couldn't claim the achievement yet: you will be able to claim it once you have finished your next league/tournament. This applies from today onwards, so if you finished a league yesterday or early today, you will have to wait until your next league/tournament has been finished.
