Hi there,
The computer teams pretty much react as a human manager would. Meaning that they don't part with their players that easily, especially their best players.
Also note, that when your league is still in pre-season they won't respond to your offers at all.

Mate...a team don't want to lose players...it could not replace them, cause theams without managers can not make transfers...that's why teams without managers don't want to lose players on transfers that easy...
