The fast and the furious franchise is amazing. Too bad that Paul Walker died. I just love that series.

Still no sign of Local Hero, though...

Sam I believe it is the 3rd time or more that you've mentioned this movie. And I'm not sure if I have watched it. You must really love it. Is this one the movie you're talking about ? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085859/

I would comment more on these films, and I respect the efforts you have made to orchestrate this thread so successfully Matt. To my embarrassment, there'a probably 35-40 of the aforementioned films that I haven't seen, hence my lack of comments.

Pulp Fiction deservedly scored highly. Its my kind of film. It's not a far fetched film, it's very straight talking, subtle humour and cleverly written.

Theres a lot of classics on the list, but would have been nice to see different genres. Maybe even musicals, e.g. Grease which is brilliant in its own way but was never really going to be the Shawshank Redemption type that is brilliant in a very different way.

While and worth our room on this earth...

Good that Gladiator isn't number one. It's a nice movie with some good images and nice music, but besides that the story is very very dissapointing: no suprises whatsoever, clichรฉ bad and good guys and the school example of predictable.
