Hi everybody, I haven´t played for a loooong time, maybe 2 years or something. Back then I often fielded a 4-3-3 with an attacking play coming from the wings, is this still a good way to win games or did they nerf it? I´ve won many games with a goal difference of 4 and more using this tactic.
Greetings, Megaforce -
@Megaforce13
Hi Mate, welcome to OSM again.
In my opinion,yes 4-3-3 is still a good formation I playing from wings. In this OSM, players are more important than tactics, if you have good players you will win most of the matches. Be very active in transfer list, complete your positions with good players, and you will succed.
I hope I helped you. -
Hey everyone,
I have a many good attackers 100+ playing Everton, but they don't score that often. I am wondering what's wrong with my tactic. I'm playing 4-3-3 A (or B, depending on my opponent). With wide style.
My mid and defenders are also very good, actually I have the most valuable team in the league, but beating Hull city only 3-0 sounds weird to me.What do you guys think about?

@Stevie-McSteveSteve
Thanks for your comment. I am actually 2nd with Everton and the team is doing well. I played 4-2-3-1 at the beginning then switched to 4-4-2 and now i'm playing 4-3-3.
Like I said my strikers are 100+ (the best of the league). My Mid are 100+ also (same the best). 2 of my defs are 100+, the rest are 93+. And my GK are 100+The problem is I think I can score more than 3 goals against Hull City.

@CiroLuigi I don't think your comment helps bekfri to understand how his tactics failed.
@bekfri4 I think you went too aggressive regarding the ref. You took a red card very early in the game. But yes, looking at your team, it's quite hard to understand what failed for you.
-
@bekfri4 I understand and share your frustation.
I have 3 105+ strikers (Lukaku, Williams and Suarez) at Everton and they scored one goal out of 18 shots against a team with a 82 GK. While Giroud (90) at Arsenal scores 5 goals in a game.I don't understand the game sometimes. And I wish someone can explain me what I have to change to make my team performs better.

Are there any hidden attributes on the players? I mean are the known attributes (age, attacking, defensive, overall) the ONLY attributes or there are some secret ones too?
That's a strange question Aris. But what could possibly be hidden there mate?
Two extra things that you didn't mention but are not hidden is the Fitness & Morale of the players in a squad ( the two tiny green bars that you can see for each player ).
These levels change match after match and they do play their part too on each match. It is advised to rotate the players and don't let the same ones play too many rounds and exaust them or don't leave any of them for too long at the bench or completely out of the matches cause their morale will eventually drop down. And we don't want any of these features low. That's all in my honest opinion. Good luck guys! :thumbsup_tone2: -

Good luck guys! :thumbsup_tone2:Let's take the example of two players on the transfer list, of exactly the same characteristics (age, att, def, overall) should we assume that they will perform the same performance? Or there are some specific players that perform better than others? There are some managers who claim that buying specific players is the best tactic because they perform better.

Thanks for your answers.
In a previous game I bought Messi along worh Ronaldo both with the same stats but unfortunately Ronaldo ended up with 24 goals for 9 matchs and Messi ended up with 10 goals for 15 matchs.
How can this be explained.I have another concern "does some teams have some advantages within a league?"
Another question. I set a strategy of normal tackles and moderate pressure because the referee was one of the hardest. But I got a red card after 1 min. My opponent played aggressive and didn't have a red card. Is there something to know about this?

@Erik-Ganante Hi Erik.
Could you please try to make your post again ? But this time in English mate?
Cause this is the English forum after all. Thank you in advance. :handshake_tone2: -
@scarle4 Yes Scarle, I completely agree? The best I can say is to match the player's performance in real life and hope that they are going to do well. I guess the best answer is you can never know? because so many times teams buy foreign players and they are the biggest flop, a lot of big names come to mind who came to EPL from European leagues and never performed. I also think, players who just click in the league are the best players, some times their ratings aren't even good (like I have top scorer who is 73 while I have robben as well). I also think when players get to play with the team longer, they adapt to the style and start to perform better. That's just my 2 cents, however I would love to hear what someone from osm has to say about this!

Among the most important settings of this game are "pressing" and "style" no doubt about that. I'm very interested to hear your opinion on the following question: Is there any way to assume what settings used the opponent for "pressing" and "style" by studying the analysis screen after the game?
One more simple question: how can we assume opponent's settings for "pressing" and "style"?
