Negotiations -

Hello World
- How can be used?
-
@YASSINE-6
Hello mate...this is simple...you want a player from another team = you make an offer for this player and wait to see if your offer will be accepted or you have a counter offer....also another manager can make an offer for a player of yours... -
@YASSINE-6
Hello mate...how are you doing with negotiations so far? -
Its better to save the money for transfer market, this can work too if you want specific player.
-
@nikiub6080 What do you mean by that Nikola?
We have 4 ways / options to buy a new player for our squad. Yes? We have the players on TLs ( aka Transfer Lists ), we have the ones our Scout brings , we have sometimes incoming Special Offers by the OSM engine and we also have the Negotiations tool to use and make an offer for a player of another squad in the same league that we play.
Have you ever tried the Negotiations feature ? -
@SUPERNOVA-8 Yeah i did try it but other managers rarly look from my experience
-
@nikiub6080 That's why we call them Negotiations. You start with a bid for a player and the other manager can decide if he will accept your money / offer or refuse it or he can ask you for a different price.
It is a fun feature ! -
But how can it be a fun feature if the manager you bid for a player from won't even respond to you and does not check their negotiations? It would get frustrating when you keep making bids to other mangers and they don't respond for weeks, or at all. I have personal experience with this problem.
-
@uchenna-a Thats the downside of that, usually managers will just ignore it bc they will get more money on transfer market.
-
Guys nobody said Negotiations is a must do or priority. Of course the TL is the main source of new players. But mark my words... The day will come that you will be playing in a highly competitive league or in a Crew battle and you will see the TL getting kinda empty of good players because every manager is buying and selling every day. At that moment you will think of trying to negotiate for a player as your alternative. If it will be successful or not , it is up to both parties involved. There are no guarantees. Just try to make a smart offer when/if needed.
-
What @SUPERNOVA-8 said is correct! In Crew battles you rarely get 100 rated + players or sometimes there aren't any 90 + players in what I've seen in battles I've done. Therefore my second option is to negotiate with the other 9 managers in the league. If they reject my offer (base value + 5 million more) then i wait patiently for the transfer list to refresh. Either way negotiations is a fun feature as you don't know what will happen with offers and so the counter offer makes it more fun too!
Sorry i waffled a bit
-
@Suleman____f Thank you so much for your post Sully ! It was fun, and I enjoyed reading it .
-
@SUPERNOVA-8 No worries, Happy to help!
-
@SUPERNOVA-8 Nobody said negotiations are a priority or a must-do, so I don't know where you are getting your first sentence from Supernova dude. Plus I have played in highly competitive leagues with 15 managers managing 15 out of 20 teams, and it is still very rare managers check their negotiations because it is not really a priority. When the transfer list is empty, I just use my scout to get the exact type of player I want. Just saying, dude.

@uchenna-a That is what @SUPERNOVA-8 said.... Which is basically that It isn't compulsory or priority it's just a useful asset to use.
-
@uchenna-a - I Suppose so but I regularly get at least 3 negotiations from clubs per 5/6/7 days. I only sell in the last few matchdays to get tonnes of money and buy cheap 100+ players to increase squad value or keep offers if I'm broke and need money fast.

I understand you well Uchenna. What you are doing is not wrong. I also use the league's TL and my Scout way more often than any Negotiation. But like both Sully @Suleman____f and I wrote before, it's simply an alternative tool for managers to use when the going gets tough. It's an optional tool of course.
P.S. Please do me a favor and try not to call me a dude. I'm a woman for goodness sake !

how do you accept offers for your own players
