@.Scandura23. Haha. Ok Mr. Robert! You want your croud , your fans and supporters yelling for your football players ha? Let's see if we can have this fun feature in the future then. :fingers_crossed_tone2:
-
@SUPERNOVA-8 I hope with all my heart
-
Feel free to discussion restore the old scout
-
@SUPERNOVA-8 thx for the reply
i only wonder how you did it with the forum then?
-
@SUPERNOVA-8 or better question. .. why did you do it with the dutch forum then? If it can't be fused, i don't see any reason whatsoever to put the dutch forum in this one instead of keeping our old forum??

Merge forums is one thing, merge two games is something completely different!
- What will be the merging criteria?
- What about users that have accounts on both games and are active playing on both?
- What about managers that have same manager name, but are not the same?
- Do the majority of OSM NL users really want to have both games merged (world users already have other languages, so that shouldn't be an issue)?
- ....
These are just some of the things that pop on my head when thinking about merging both games!

I used to play OSM before with another account but had been away for a while but the fact that the game had new features is what caught my eye and made me join it again.
•The new "match experience" feature is really fun.
•Some features like scout, expanding stadium etc. used to be available to ticket holders only but now they are open to everyone. Another cool change
•Old training system wasn't bad at all but new one might be better in my eyes.
•Only thing that bugged me is the replacement of tickets with boss coins. Tickets gave people slight advantage and that is cool but boss coins can possibly advantage people to the point where it is sort of unfair.
For example : As far as I remember in old OSM a ticket holder managing a "16-Goal/Objective Team" could never possibly have a squad with all 100+ but now if someone is capable of spending coins they can actually do that. (I know it is very unlikely for someone to spend so many coins in one season but I exaggerated to explain my point.)
So, old Tickets feature might have been better than Boss Coins.
Those are my thoughts regarding the new features when I'm just starting out. -
@Alfonzso_NL192 You're welcome mate.
Oops! Your question was answered in the best way from an Admin. :thumbsup_tone2:
Thank you SpecialOne .P.S. Still didn't catch up your name though...haha.

to bad.. it's like having Fifa 17 and Fifa 17.nl
lolAll the fun is at Fifa 17
-
@Alfonzso_NL192 Then create an account on world version... you can join the fun with all the knowledge you already have from OSM NL
-
@SpecialOne i'm not gonna pay double for the same game... This is my OSM-account, also i'm not gonna restart.. If for any reason OSM.nl would stop because of non-interest, i'm gonna quit the game.
-
And after a small break I'm back to our discussion.
So guys & girls, is there anything else that you would like to share about OSM's game features?
Any new ideas to improve the game in all ? Or anything that in your opinion needs to be changed?
Let me hear you then. I'm all ears ! -
@SUPERNOVA-8 Change the theme to old blue will be a great improvement.
Improvements:
- Bring back the OLD theme to come back.
- Scouts, make them cheaper (15 Boss coins for a player is too much).
- Training Camps, make them cheaper too.
- 2 & 3 is not going to happen because this is a business. haha

I wonder... why did they even merge the forums if the games can't be merged.
This is just nonsense, also because the Dutch part in this new "world forum" get's only space for 4 forum categories. What was wrong with our forum?I just don't get it, i can't put loose ends together. The only thing i'm thinking: what were they thinking when they had the idea?
If they can merge the forums, they should merge the games. If they can't merge the games, don't bother merging the forums together... pff what's so difficult to understand.btw: i'm not pointing the finger at you @SpecialOne no worries bro
i'm not gonna shoot the messenger -
How do I get the achievement of 10,000 points in one season?? I went whole season unbeaten and not booked and didn't come close to 10,000 points
-
@Lirind what do you mean by "don't change the settings"

My guess Steve is that he meant if you ever decide to start/create your own league , thus be the Moderator of it , then you should not try to mess with the timers or disallow training camps or use of private funds etc cause then maybe the manager points will be affected . But I'm not sure if that's right. I know the bonus Boss Coins might be less as a reward if you reach your goal or win the Cup or/and the Championship.
But I don't think the MPs that we earn day by day get affected if anyone changes those league settings. -
@Alfonzso_NL192 Mate, feel free to comment and criticize, but watch out how you do it. I've edited your post!

Where did I said that games can't be merged? I just said it's not same thing and that there are a lot of things to think before do it...
About number of categories, to be honest Dutch forums had an extra category that wasn't planned at start and I'm not yet sure if that was a good idea.
The idea on reducing the number of categories was to avoid users spread all over the different categories and have only one post per day on each of them, like we had on old forums.
Every time someone checks a topic and don't see nothing new, the reaction is... "Always same thing, I'm out of here!"
Having less categories, active topics will be concentrated in same place, so the probability of users to stick around and become more active, creating a more vibrant forums, goes up.
