Player fitness not refreshing?

My team did not play the last round of games as it was a 1st round cup draw for lower ranked teams. I assumed that my player fitness levels would recover after this 'rest' (as I've observed in the past). However, they are at the same levels. Is this a fault in the system?

@king_jamiu_10 Thanks for your quick reply. I have just noticed that the counter is still indicating that there is over 24 hours before my next round. It's a bit odd as this means that the round did not play. Is it common for a round to be held up for 24 hours? Thanks.

@polecatffc No it's not. But there was a problem with the server so a decision was made not to simulate the games until yester and for some until today.
