So what do I have to do when somebody plays through wing play in a 4-3-3 formation, for example?
It'll depend on your team values and on if your opponent defends with offside trap or not.
As I said before, each scenario requires a different approach.Commentaries said, at both of my matches, that my players felt good in this formation and played very well.
This is because you linked your chosen formation to a proper style of play.
Both 4-4-2B PG and 4-5-1 SOS are good setups. They both said my attackers weren't efficient enough, but i had Ronaldo on striker position in a match. I should've won on paper.
Maybe your Ronaldo was still worse than your opponent's defenders.
It's all about relative qualities. It doesn't only take your players to be absolutely good; they gotta be better than their opponents in order to thrive. Is in the crew battle league with Al-Ittihad. So do you have any idea on what went wrong in both matches?
I'm also managing Al-Ittihad on my current battle - and I haven't been to win yet for my first seven matches on the league.
Theory doesn't work all the times.
My squad is the second best on the competition...
... and I still fail at winning matches - despite my better stats on a few matches.
If you visit some official fonts, you'll always see that one of factors to consider regarding OSM simulations is luck. So, you may be on a unlucky streak of two matches... but I'm a lot worse over here. -

Is there even an good formation to beat 433? I feel like EVERYONE is playing 433 in this game and it just depends on who has the better team. When i play with 451 or 4231 against 433 it just doesnt matter..
Yes! Indeed all my friends play this tactic as well, i have tried many tactics and simply say that beating 433 is possible by 442A.
Pressure 45
Offense 40
Tempo 75
Aggro play style
zonal def, and no offside. You better keep your defence in their zone, and midlaners to support forward, make sure forward only looks for scores!
Let me know by your score

Hello. I'm going to play against Liverpool, I have West Ham and my players have a good quality, similar to Liverpool's players.
He's on the top of the table, and I'll play at home. He plays 433B, Passing Game, Aggresive.
-
@The_Maczmann do you happen to have a good 4231 to play at home ??
-
Are you asking for slider values?
-
just watch!!!!!! best squat...
-
@IMPARATOR-ERSIN-BABA Thank you very much man! I appreciate it! I will definitely let you know the scores.
Now for today i have an opponent who plays 433 and playing counter football or something. Is it smart to set my offense to neutral, so that he can counter less? Does anyone have any tips?
-
It's the first match of the league. My opponent hasn't set up any tactics yet. What is probably the best startegy? Their team value is better.
-
It'll have to take in consideration your squad: make you line up your best players on your team and that they play on their positions.
-
Iβm playing away against a 4-4-2 A,no offside trap, zone marking, aggressive tackling, better midfield and defense than mine(his midfield is way better) and his offense is worse than mine
-
You forgot about the most important: style of play...
-
Yes
Iβm Stronger team. -
@DMFArranhado98 yeah,itβs either wing play or s-o-s,he changed it
-
That different matters a lot...
-
The most recent is the wing play according to data analyst
-
In that case:
4-2-3-1
Shoot On Sight
Forward supporting midfield | Midfield holding position | Defenders defending deep
Zonal Marking
No offside trap
Defensive (30) style
High-speed passing (60-80) tempo -
hi guys, i wanna play 3232 ( 5 forwards )please any suggestion for tactics ?
-
@jibzoo Yes, 451 SOS, marking zone, no offside
Pressure : 72
Style : 49
Tempo : 53 -
Playing with five forwards should be the worst option available on the game, given its massive unbalance.
Regardless of that, here you go:- long ball
- forward falling back to defense
- midfielders holding position
- defenders defending deep
- offside trap ON
- attacking (70) style
- one-touch football (80-100) tempo
