Well every legend(retired player) has an age of 26 years.The 2010 World Cup Tournament is not a retirement league. It is a historical one. Players should have the age as at they were in 2010 for realism.

We only provide updates when things are fully implemented.
Same thin is valid for the player positions. No info is provided because it's not fully implemented yet;!
Like with many new features, we first enable it for a small part of our managers. This is done randomly. When the feedback is positive, we will almost always implement the feature for all the managers.
I'm playing OSM with a group of 15-20 friends in a private league, and those leagues are always very active. We used to refresh the list about one minute before the transfer run was expected (yes, we are kind of freaks!), which was stressful but fun too. Our days were really based on the transfer runs each 2 hours.
Until now, as it seems the transfer runs are randomly chosen within 8 time frames (1u-3u, 3u-5u etc). The really active OSM players are kind of disadvantaged now, as it is not possible or enjoyable to be stand-by the whole day now instead of 5 minutes every 2 hours.
The lack of official communication really disturbes me too I have to say. Even it is beta. All of a sudden something is changed in our regular way of playing OSM and nobody is providing any clear communication except for a hidden post in this topic. -
I think the new system with random sessions needs to be improved with a session notification, because if I don't sell someone how can I notice?

Whoever does these kind of improvements doesn’t think about this. People like to know when the list has new players even if you don’t sell I agree.
Would be easier to just put the transfers around every two hours on roughly the same minute. Still don’t understand why they would change this in the 1st place? Least people know then even if they don’t sell.

I agree. Also in my opinion the old system was better, and I don't understand why they dedicate themselves to making these changes (random market hours, specific roles..) rather than putting the friendlies in the new style battles or making the fantasy createable. -
@allaboutthatyolo Implementing notifications for the new transfer windows would only work for app-users imo. Users who are playing the game on the site would still be better off knowing that transfers happen every 2 hours as they don't get notified by their phone. It also seems more like which player was lucky being online at the right time now...

Hello, why dont show my position ex. CB, RB, LB? On my friends team show position every player in my nothing like that i dont have. We have same version app.

A remark about player positions. I understand that not everyone can see these now, but can there be a period of at least 3 weeks between the moment player positions are visible for everyone and the moment that player positions have influence on match results?
The reason for this remark is that we start building a squad early in the season and we might have two trainable left defenders and no right defenders in our team and it's not easy to adjust your squad when your players are already 100+ in skills (especially for those who also play the winners cup after the season).

New in OSM: Specific Positions! We heard your call about more possibilities to expand your tactical skills as a manager in surveys, social platforms and emails. Thanks for that! We especially loved the idea of more player positions.
From now on, players in OSM have a specific position instead of only defender, midfielder and forward. For example, Sergio Ramos is now a centre back.
In OSM, players perform best in their own specific position, but they can still play in other positions in the line. Beware: players still perform worse in a different line.
Use your Scout or the Transfer List to build your best team with the specific positions of the players.

@specialone Hello, with the new update on specific workstations, it would be really good to put back the hours of simulation transfers every 2 hours. In a championship I had 2 simulated transfers in 30 minutes ... in a competitive championship, if we have the misfortune of being absent during this period, we are completely at a disadvantage. It is no longer possible today to be competitive if you are not unemployed. please stop these random transfer simulations. thank you.

@alainlbb13 I absolutely agree. It's way easier to play this game if you know that every 2 hours fix there is a run. Now you can wait until 10:55 for a run and get another one on 11:05 or the other way around. Not to mention that you can't even know there is a run if you don't sell. So really hard if you have sufficient funds to buy something decent but you have to wait for a batch of new players.
If you want to play this game as it should be played - so trying to be available at the transfer runs - it's pretty annoying and not preferable in the way the transfer runs are executed at the moment.

I agree with @alainlbb13 as well. It's better to have transfers around the same time every day. People can adjust to that for training. I had a regular schedule: 10:15 check transfer market and start training after that, at 18:15 the training was finished and I could check the market again and make my line-up. Now the transfer market update can be at 9:20 or after 11:00. This messes up my daily OSM routine, because most matches start just after 19:00.
If GB want to spread the server load around transfer times, why not start transfer workers on 5 servers at 10:00, 5 servers at 10:05, 5 servers at 10:10, etc. every days at the same time. I expect all servers (including non-English versions of OSM) will have their workers within about an hour and the server load will be spread more.
Also one remark about the new player positions: please give some more explanation about how this works in the match engine. For example: in the past I pitched pitched a defender with 18 attack as wingback. Will he perform worse than before now? I see 18 attack is now considered as central defender and 20+ attack is a wing back.
