How much age matter in osm?

age looks to be important in osm players that are young grow really fast in training the question I ask is is age important as player quality? for example there is 2 players at the same price one of them is 20 y.o. and 73 rated other is 22 y.o. and 75 rated which one would you take and it would be more logical?

@skysea61_1 Hi bro,
In my case I like to take the higher rated player in battles as it has less gameweeks so I won't be able to improve him that much but during maybe the 43 Matchday league, I would say both just need to decide between them as they are both very young and there won't be that much difference between there training progression in that case I might take the higher rated one also.If I tell you I am playing in a Premier league and it has been 2 matchdays and I have the choice to buy 2 player both at the same Value but different rating as follows :
an 87 rated players of age 36 value is 12 Million and a player rated 83 and aged 21 and the value is 12 million, there I would take the younger player as I will have many matchdays to improve him and as you know in OSM there is many training events so he will have more progression than the 36 years old guy here,Hope I give you a little idea.
