Problem in joining the battles

Hi
I have a crew and we play organised battles and I asked a manager to join the battle but this message keep appearing : "you can't join the recruitment because your manager slot is already taken"
He has an empty slot but it says that it is occupied when he choose the slot in which he will join the battles
Please do something
