Players - switching positions

Does the initial position of a player matters? Do you lose anything when you do the conversion from RB to a CB? for example - RBs have higher attack skills in general so I would see that as a positive.

@Elnino2018 I mean CB don't usually going but I think you could have 1 of your 2/3 to have high attacking like John Stones does for Manchester City.

If for example I buy 4RB all with high attacking skills over 40 then I convert them in a LB, CB, CB, RB line. That would be a super offensive - defensive line.
