Made a Fantasy League but...

Heroes of OSM
I created a Fantasy League yesterday on osm.nl (but their forum hasn't been read since 2021) with my account/bosspoints. My manager name is 'perejongen', and the competition is called 'Chapter Two'.
I have one friend I know who also plays OSM ('piedhomme'). Since I enjoy being in a competition with him, I added him. When I created the competition, I chose 'private' so that he and I could select our favorite players first. I assumed that after making our selections, I could set the competition to 'public' for other players.
I have been playing OSM since 9-4-2006, 11:31, and at one point, I owned a competition, so I thought I remembered being able to change these settings later. Once I had selected 20 players, I submitted my team. My friend also selected 20 players and submitted his. However, it now says that the competition is waiting in the queue until all players have submitted a squad.
Since there are only the two of us, this competition can never be completed as I don't know anyone else. Could you solve this issue? Either by opening the competition to others or, if that is not possible, simply deleting it? Otherwise, this would indefinitely occupy an account for nothing."
Additionally, I would like to report that when selecting our players, we received the message 'Oops, this player does not exist' for many players, even though they were listed, had a plus sign next to them, and no other people were selecting the same players.
For example, I wanted to choose Teddy Teuma and Manuel Locatelli (as well as many other players), but I received this message for all of them. My friend got the same message for other players that I didn’t select.
Is this a bug? What causes this issue?
