Penalty shootout bug

Hello everyone, yesterday I played a final and noticed something which seems like a bug

So Mbappe was the first penalty taker in the shootout,
It was already 1-3 after 3 penaties taken by each team and it was my opponent's turn and if he missed I had win, he missed his 4th pen and in real life the shootout would be over but my player took the 4th penalty and scored to make it 1-4, I don't know if it's a bug but It's not like real life football, it didn't affect my win but this should be solved

i think it isn't, its just a mechanic that haves to be fixed
