I think its actually a really good suggestion its only something small but could be a really useful game mechanic.

Managers who like to test out different formations and tactics can see which which formation/tactic combination are the most effective can save it in those slots so they wont forget.
Having up to 10 slots will better.
This can be used in all club slots. -
Having a pre-set tactics and formations is a unique idea
I like it a lot, that you can set a specific plan and tactics when you're playing home against a stronger team and with an eye blink you can change them if you were playing away
