Stadium Capacity Upgrades should grant a % performance bonus like upgrading the pitch does

I understand what you mean, sounds logic as well and is mentioned before.
The 3 stadium upgrade options are now like: Money,training or game+ instead of combination.

I first played this game about 15 ish years ago when I was a teenager, and I don't know if I'm imagining it, but I think I remember that upgrading the pitch, used to also reduce the risk of injury to players?
If so, the devs could re-implement this perhaps?
And then in addition, perhaps upgrading training facilities should also reduce training time by like 30 minutes - 1hr or something?
Then it's like:
capacity = more ticket sales & performance boost
Pitch = Performance boost & reduced risk of injury
Training = % boost for training & reduced training timeAnd then if needs be, to keep balance, the cost of each could be increased a little to make players have to choose their upgrade strategies wisely

(Additional option is that the 2nd bonuses only come into play once you reach level 3 upgrades, but then I would recommend reducing the amount of steps between level 2 - 3)

Or another option could be:
Less steps to achieve level 3 stadium upgrades but while keeping the current bonuses the same.
Add a level 4 which grants the following:
capacity = more ticket sales & performance boost
Pitch = Performance boost & reduced risk of injury
Training = 75%/100% boost for all training types (including friendlies) & reduced individual training time &/or increased effectiveness for team training (camps & secret training boost).... Could even make it user choice between reduced individual training time or increased camp & secret training effectiveness.

Or another option could be:
Less steps to achieve level 3 stadium upgrades and Add a level 4
And split additional bonuses between level 3 & 4 as per below ideas
Change capacity to "Stadium" in general (to account for staff facilities) and then
- Level 3 = performance boost (crowd/player psychology as above) & More ticket sales & Increased revenue from stadium sponsors
- Level 4 = Performance boost & More ticket sales & Reduced time for staff functions (Doctor, Lawyer, Scout, Analyst)
Pitch:
- Level 3 = Performance Boost & installation of pitch side advertising for increased revenue from advertisers (making stadium sponsors different from pitch-side advertisers)
- Level 4 = Performance boost & reduced risk of injury & increased revenue from pitch-side advertisers.
Training
- Level 3 = 75% boost for all training types (including friendlies) & Reduced Player Fatigue
- Level 4 = 100% boost for all training types & and then one of the following (could be user choice)
- Reduced individual player training time
- Increased effectiveness for team training (camps & secret training boost)
- Or both of them included
