@SpecialOne Cool, thank you for the explanation and good news
-
@SpecialOne sounds good!

Maybe add own goals, but make it a rare occurrence and more likely with lower quality players or with poor and fitness.

Hello, does someone know how to get promotion codes for BC?
-
why not let managers build their own national team by taking championship players from national and foreign leagues? As a manager I would like to build my national selection

Hi,
i know, the scout is a gold donkey for Gamebasics, but how about add a switch do prevent from using the scout in competetive leagues?!

The last time I logged into OSM was eleven months ago. Over those eleven months, it looks like all custom avatars have been deleted and replaced with one of a selection of game-default avatars. I don't have any particular complaints about the feature being introduced, actually. I lament the loss of the old 2D default that served us well from at least 2013 (with one alteration!), but I've chosen to hoist the Turkish flag since that is apparently available.
But with that in mind: would it be possible for Gamebasics to give every staff member a special staff-only avatar - whether that be giving them a common character, a special background colour (orange and pink aren't used on any of the available avatars), or both? (I'm not suggesting that any of the current avatars be taken away for regular players, for the record.)
Staff members aren't always labelled as such on the forum: SpecialOne and Harry Poon aren't, even though they're definitely long-serving OSM staff members. Daniele Benjiamin is, but he's called a Community Manager. DE XRIST is also marked as an English Moderator. I feel like a consistent staff avatar regime would aid visibility - but I can understand the arguments against it (staff members have historically been able to choose avatars on an equal basis with the regular playerbase) and won't complain if this proposal isn't taken any further.

I don't know if they realize that their game neglects 60% of gamers.
What I would call the "casual gamer", the guy who connects like once a day, well OSM doesn't attract him.
If you want to win in this game, manager skills are like the least important thing of this whole game, while calling themselves a manager game...
If you want to win trophies it's not hard, all you have to do is log in to this game as much as possible.
The more you log in on a day, the more trainings you can do, the more Transfers you can do and the more tactical advantage you have because you just have to spy 5 minutes before the game to have a 75% chance to win it.
Si here is a suggestion for OSM to attract the casual gamer:
Make it possible to disable the spy, at least while creating a private league.
Sure when you're like 15 years old, it's fun to use the spy and beat everybody because you spied the latest.
But after ten years, I can tell you it's just boring...
There is just no skill required what so ever now.
So you close this game for more then half of your potential players, because losing games just because the other spied on you is just sad.
Where is the need for using your brain ? The need to analyse your opponents team and determine what tactics he'll play without actually knowing it? Where is the need for real manager skills in this game?
There isn't... Just go and ask on the forum what to do, sure it won't work 100% of the time but just the fact that you gain an advantage on the other person is not correct, sport is all about fair play and giving everyone the same chances on victory.
It's sad this game doesn't acknowledge this.
So take the time to think about it, but I'm sure that if you think more about the casual players you'll attract more people to this game.
Cheers,

Why are not all available leagues scoutable? For instance in Ghana league I see couple interesting players and it is a shame I cannot scout them..

You need to start banning these multi-accounts.
Another suggestion would be to create the possibility of having leagues created with 1 day of pre-season

[Improving medals ranking suggestion]
Okay, so we all know and are aware of these "pro" managers in top spots of global ranking that are winning matches easilly with 8+ goals every game or they are so good that they are playing closed leagues without any real opponent and in that way keeping their "hard earned" medal status...3
So, how about this? Why dont you guys make it impossible to earn medal points in closed private leagues? That way we they wouldnt be able to simply close out their leagues and boost their points in various illegal ways. Also it would give us who play competitive leagues (Battles, competitions etc.) chance as well to improve in the leaderboard as closed out leagues wouldnt make us lose points. Its sounds bit silly, but when you think about it, its an easy fix to a "global ranking filled with cheaters and multiaccounts" situation. At least its a start towards a more normal ranking, wouldnt you say?

@Majstor-Matt
Another fix is also to giving more medals for a win for a win against level 8/9/10 manager than a win against level 3/4/5 manager, and im not talking about difference in 10 or 50 points, but lets say if a win against level 3 manager is 75 medals, then a win against level 10 manager should be 7x higher (500 medals). That way those top ranked managers that play against their inactive "imaginary friends" who are mostly max level 5 would also get fewer points to mantain their ranking. -
@Majstor-Matt agree with every word which you said and supoort that change as well!
-
@Majstor-Matt true i agree
-
@Supersuperb agreed
-
okay thats great.

Please make like a paid/subscription league where you pay like 15 euros to be able to disable the micro-transaction store for the entire league.
This store aspect of the game really makes it unfair for players that don't want to spend 100 euros just to get ahead of the other players.
And in this way you can still pay for the upkeep of the servers. win/win in my opinion.
