OSM Game Features : Chatroom - Suggestions

I think that it should be added to the game that some players can have multiple positions. Just like in real life, (some) players can perform excellent on different positions. For example a CDM can also play as a CM or a CAM can also play as a LF. This can also be the solution to get more LM's and RM's in the game. I think that with this change there would be a new transfer tactic knowing that the player you buy can be a substitute for different positions.
I would like to know how you think about my opinion.
Kind regards. -
@martin_9264_nl yes nice suggestion!!!
sometimes we can't use a 4-4-2 line up as we don't have players in RM and LM positions
-
I really like the tactics section but there might be added something. I think it would be nice if there were substitution tactics. Not too difficult but just so you can choose between 'often subbing', 'end game subbing' and 'only when needed subbing'. Or something like that.
In that way you can prevent players of getting too tired or when you are afraid of injuries you can set it on less changes. Or if you want to increase the moral of bench players you can set on 'change when winning' for example.
I really think it is something nice and simple and in this way you still have control on the match like a real manager.
Also, it will be nice to set 2nd specialists, when your 1st is subbed.
Please let me know what you think about this.
Kind regards -
@precious-fc I missed a fact .We can put a players which is naturally positioned as a cm in a RM and LM position. But the problem is that i don't know if the player will play well as the same in a CM position
-
@precious-fc He won't play as well as when placed on CM (I also think he would tire faster). But still better as when placed as attacker or defender.
-
That's really one of the best ideas, I wish this could be taken into consideration.

Me and many others have been asking for the ability to change our nicknames for a specific amount of boss coins for years now, I can't comprehend the reason behind this one not being implemented. What's wrong?
-
@joe-mcnorthman i think it will complicate the battle against cheaters
-
@supernova-8 - how about a career mode where you can manage the same club over multiple seasons? - perhaps the transfer system would need to be adjusted for this mode but it seems a shame that when the season is over you start again from scratch
-
More rewards (in coins) for example:
- build up a 3 billion squad in one season
- win X games with 11 players from one nation
- win X games with 10 young players and one old cunning bird as captain
- underdog reward bonus at the end of season to win a championship / cup final to make the little teams more attractive to choose

Hello everybody,
I've been noticing that one of the latest 'cheating trends' is to avoid players getting tired or in a low physical condition.
It is common to check that even after 5, 6 or more matches some players keep their fitness bar always on green.
In order to 'kill' (metaphorically, of course) these cheaters, why not to introduce a new feature like 'physiotherapist' from whom managers could take advantage to recover the players condition in a shorter time by using e.g. boss coins?Just food for thought.

I feel like there has to be an influx of players that we can buy in the transfer list whenever there's the Transfer Madness event. It's a Transfer Madness afterall.

In the mid-2010s, OSM didn't have Boss Coins - it allowed users to buy Tickets and Premium Tickets instead. Don't quote me on this, but I believe that in addition to a Euro-denominated payment, you could purchase (Premium) Tickets:
- via card, using British Pounds Sterling (which I think was an option), or
- via SMS, using your local currency (which was definitely possible; I nagged my dad to buy Premium Tickets via SMS, or something along those lines, a lot back in 2014.)
OSM today only allows you to purchase Boss Coins using Euros. Speaking solely as a long-retired manager with a GBP-denominated bank account, if either of these Boss Coin payment options could be added, it would be appreciated. If they can't, I can understand why - eight years is a long time to forget something.

I have a 'Droid but never bothered to install OSM on it! Can't see why localised pricing can't be/hasn't been rolled out to onlinesoccermanager.com but thanks
-
I think this has been proposed several times, but it seems that it did not meet the priorities of GB and Miniclips, so I would propose it again and comment on it a bit
introducing new formations and removing those that are not used or rarely used, or enable us users to be able to make any formation.
Can you tell us how many OSM users are actively using 325, 3232, 334 and how much is formation 631 used in real football?
Thanks in advance for your reply

@ado-hackovic Nice suggestion

can there be a boss coin coverter to club funds and vice vers if you are in need

As quite new OSM players me and my friends are, it didn't take long for anyone to realize this game is (sadly) mainly focused on transfers rather than working on your team and tactics. Besides, given the recent updates, here's a few suggestions that hopefully would make the experience of being a soccer manager better maybe for the next season (?
- Transfers:
- Console eventually always buying overpriced players should be regulated. The fact that the console can buy you a player for more than twice the price the game itself puts on it just makes no sense and this is exactly what makes the game almost all about transfers
- Being able to loan players to others teams in exchange of money and player improvement with agreed prices and dates on the transfer list
- Region-locking the transfer lists by continent to make the game more realistic. So if you wanted to buy a player from another continent you'd have to have the scout bring it to you
- Games:
- Real time games so that you can substitute players or change tactics while in play
- Training:
- Training the team as a whole should be a thing, apart from the individual trainings
- Lower the training time a tad (from 8h to 6h)
- Inactivity:
- Kicking players out of leagues for inactivity after a few days should also definitely be a thing. They're just taking up space in the league
- Gambling:
- Betting as a way to make money on the side should be added to the game. Players should be able to put bets on games in the same league, plus this way managers would be more focused on the league's results
- Press conferences:
- Declaring in favor of the team or the fans / Hiring journalists to boost/lower player's morale
