@Dan-Spencer_1 This is now fixed. He is now listed as a striker on the offensive positions. It should aso be fixed on all active leagues.

Keep in mind that they only announce it a little bit early to try to increase forumactivity. @Hardbase-II_NL Hi there, This is simply because not every player in OSM is scoutable. That also means that not every league is available in the scout. Canada just happens to be one of those leagues. You can try to scout the players in the Canadian league by using the nationality option of the scout in combination of the other options.
