As for the code through the e-mail: have you also checked your spamfolder? The e-mail might be there.
If not, then it could be that you are trying to log in on the OSM World version when you use the OSM app. Your account is located on the Dutch version (OSM NL). Both versions act independately of each other and an account created on one version can't be used on the other version.
You can change the login version yourself:
iOS: go to the settings of the OSM app through the settings of your phone. There you can change the login version
Android: on the login screen in the OSM app you can change the login version.

Pushmeldingen zijn gewoon van OSM afkomstig. Sommige zijn een beetje raar geformuleerd, maar "Ben je een wegloper" heb ik ook wel eens ontvangen.
Ik heb geen idee hoe en wanneer sommige van die pushmeldingen worden getriggerd.
